@PatrickRyen Whatever the future set up is, I hope Solly is part of it.
We need footy brains within our coaching unit.
Weekly forensic analysis of our “game plan” was pulled apart by many astute observers (Bartel, Hird and a few others) highlighting staggering deficiencies in so many areas…
@PatrickRyen I like it. Seems like the spine is back at EFC. Woosha’s motto “we won’t be pushed around anymore” is being applied in a number of ways. Good on him. Do what’s best for the club 💪🏼
@CraiG_Mc You don’t lock out your past greats. You embrace them and celebrate them. You don’t tell a former premiership hero to “piss off and go barrack for another club”. You need them around to keep the spirit and soul of the club alive.
@rohan_connolly Great record RoCo. But it doesn’t guarantee the same success at EFC. Pagan had a great record before he went to Carlton. So too Malthouse. Sometimes great coaches don’t fit into some club’s culture and dynamics. For example, Worsfold tried to heal the place, but it didn’t work…
@FootyonNine There seems to be an unhealthy obsession with Hird amongst these cockroaches. Like it was 10 years ago, they are probably camping outside his home and trawling through his wheelie bin on a nightly basis…
@FOXFOOTY Imagine enquiring about a job interview and you ask “are there any internal applicants for this role?” and you chicken out because the answer is yes 🐓
@GlennRiseley@rtralphy Let’s look at Carlton for a sec. Past 20 odd years, they got a couple of proven premiership coaches - Pagan & Malthouse. How did they go? Who got them playing their best? Ratten, a favourite son. Maybe they should go back to Ratts.
@NeilMur73809257@Thomo_Grant Haha… you’re sounding like a dick. We know what happened. Punishments were handed out. It was dealt with. No-one is forgetting. But some like to forgive. I’d be happy if he returned. And if the club and players are… that’s good enough for me.
