The sad problem is, it is not only Christians but also many Muslims who have been duped by the IQ fetishism propagated by secular liberalism.

Technically speaking, IQ is a measure of one's ability to do science and math.

For psychological and cognitive reasons, higher IQ is correlated with atheism and materialism. Therefore, valuing IQ as a standard to judge religions, races, and nations will ALWAYS place the most atheistic and materialist at the top and Muslims at the bottom.

Thus, we have undermine that standard, not reinforce it with dumb arguments like: "but we had a golden age!" Or "but we were colonized!"

The Islamic Golden Age was the age of the salaf, not the age that insecure Muslims trying to please European IQ fetishists point to.

And crying about being colonized just reaffirms that the higher IQ group dominated the lower IQ group, thus reinforcing the importance of IQ. How is that a rebuttal?

Islam does not teach us to be IQ fetishists. IQ has its place. It has value but there are many human qualities that have value: spirituality, bravery, modesty, generosity, chastity, wisdom, etc. And there are many human achievements that are more valuable than producing science and technology.

Until the duped Muslims learn and internalize this, they're always going to be on the backfoot and plagued by a sense of inferiority.
