“In 10 years, that’s between 1970-1980 I saw only 3 heart attack cases, right now I attend to 3 per day”. Renowned Cardiologist, Doctor Gikonyo reveals.
Lifestyle diseases are no longer old people’s problem.
I am trying very hard to remain civil. Still, I genuinely struggle to understand why, particularly among many men of the pulpit, discussions about Peter Obi so often focus on what you believe he lacks or where you think he falls short.
Rarely do I hear emphasis placed on the qualities that are actually worth emulating: a man who won his party's primaries fairly, who is widely regarded for his integrity, consistency, discipline, and enduring principles. These are virtues that closely mirror the kind of character Christians should aspire to cultivate.
Yet, instead of highlighting those qualities, the conversation often gravitates toward political calculations and traits that appear uncomfortably close to the godfatherism and morally ambiguous actions many of us claim to oppose.
I fully acknowledge that everyone, including pastors, has the right to their political preferences and convictions. However, I would respectfully ask that we recognize what is at stake. Our collective future is on the line, and the standards we choose to celebrate or dismiss today will shape the kind of society we leave behind tomorrow.
“My friend was just k%dnapped in Ore. I advised him to travel by air, but he said flights were too expensive. Now he has been k%dnapped. We were told the k%dnappers were wearing police uniforms. President Tinubu, you have failed us. We will take back our country through the democratic process in 2027.”

Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones listened to 800 songs to find 9. Then Quincy threw out 4 of those 9 and went back into the studio. Beat It, Human Nature, P.Y.T., and The Lady in My Life were emergency replacements for songs that were not good enough.
They spent four months just listening. Quincy and Rod Temperton sat in a Los Angeles studio in 1982, going through song after song after song from every songwriter they could pull a favor from. Most got cut after a few seconds. Of the 800, they only ended up recording around 30 with Michael actually singing. Of those 30, only 9 made the final list. And then Quincy listened to the finished album, decided 4 of his own picks were not strong enough, and pulled them. The four songs he replaced them with became some of the most famous in pop music history. The four he cut went on to become hits for other artists.
Recording those replacements almost broke the team. During the Beat It sessions, Quincy had three studios running at the same time. Eddie Van Halen was in one of them laying down his guitar solo for free. He had thought the call from Quincy was a prank his friends were pulling on him. Michael was in the next room, singing a vocal part through a cardboard tube. Engineers were mixing in the third studio. They worked five days and five nights with no sleep. At one point the speakers overloaded and caught fire. Quincy later told the BBC they had to carry engineers out of the studio on stretchers. Musicians too. Greg Phillinganes, the keyboard player on the album, said there was a moment where everyone thought it was finished, that they had nothing left to give, and Quincy was still standing there saying "It is not there yet" while Michael, almost falling apart, kept asking what they were supposed to do now.
They finally finished mixing in early November. Then they sat down to play the master back, and the album sounded weak. They had crammed too much music onto a normal vinyl record, and the grooves had to be cut so narrow that the punch was gone. So they cut a verse from "The Lady in My Life," shortened the famous 29-second intro of "Billie Jean" that Quincy had been trying to drop the entire time, and remixed almost the whole album from scratch. One song a day. Eight straight days. The only track they left alone was "The Girl Is Mine" because it was already on the radio. The final mix wrapped on November 8, 1982. The album came out 21 days later.
The wolves you hear at the start of the song "Thriller" are Michael. The engineer set up tape recorders in a barn overnight to catch his own dog howling, and the dog never made a sound. So Michael did the howls in the booth himself. Some of the background vocals on the same track were sung in the studio's shower stall. Vincent Price did his entire spoken-word horror section in three takes, and the verses he was reading had been written by Rod Temperton in a taxi on the way to the studio that same morning. Michael never wrote his songs on paper. He recorded them on a small handheld tape recorder and then sang them back from memory in the studio.
The album ended up selling around 70 million copies. It won 8 Grammys, sat at number one for 37 weeks, and produced 7 Top 10 hits out of 9 songs. At its peak it was moving a million copies a week. But all of that came after the work was done. The work itself was 800 demos, 30 recordings, 4 last-minute saves, three studios running until the speakers caught fire, and a producer who refused to put out something he did not believe in even when it meant pulling his own album apart twice. Nine tracks because they could not find more that were good enough.
I am going to tell you a deep secret of the English language. When we want to tell the truth, we use Germanic-derived words. When we want to lie, we use Latin-derived words.
- Germanic (Old English) words → concrete, direct, sensory, testable
- Latinate/French words → abstract, bureaucratic, distancing, often euphemistic
Death / harm
Germanic (plain, testable):kill, die, hurt
Latinate (distancing, euphemistic):terminate, expire, neutralize, collateral damage
👉 “We killed civilians” vs “There was collateral damage”
Lying / deception
Germanic:lie, cheat, hide
Latinate:misrepresent, obfuscate, prevaricate
👉 “He lied” vs “He misrepresented the facts”
Money / exploitation
Germanic:take, steal, pay
Latinate:appropriate, extract, leverage, monetize
👉 “They’re taking your money” vs “They’re extracting value”
War / violence
Germanic:fight, bomb, burn
Latinate:engagement, kinetic action, force projection
👉 “We bombed them” vs “We conducted kinetic operations”
Bureaucracy / responsibility
Germanic:you broke it, you did it
Latinate:mistakes were made, systemic failure occurred
👉 Notice how the subject disappears.

If you see a public statement filled with Latin-sounding words, you are being fooled, tricked, manipulated, or lied to.
An American bank partnered with a Nigerian man to launder $308 million of Nigerian government money.
The money left Nigeria through American banks. It then sat quietly in a shell company for years while the man lived comfortably in Texas.
In 2003 American authorities arrested him. He spent six months in federal detention in the United States waiting to be tried.
Before the trial happened he offered to return $163 million.
America accepted. He flew back to Nigeria.
Nobody questioned him. Nobody charged him. Nobody prosecuted him.
He ran for Senate and won. He ran for Governor and won. He ran for Governor again and won.
America returned the $308 million his operation had laundered.
The new president then put him in cabinet.
America did not trust Nigeria with the $308 million.
They tied every dollar to three specific roads. Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Abuja-Kano Road. Second Niger Bridge.
They even included a clawback clause. Misuse one dollar, pay it all back.
Why the conditions? Because previous loot returned to Nigeria had already disappeared.
Nigeria's own government told the court they had no record of how the earlier billions were spent.
A man who laundered billions is currently Nigeria's Minister of Budget and Economic Planning.
He decides how Nigeria spends its money.

A US delegation member poisoned a Nigerian president elect.
A Nigerian businessman won the presidential election by the largest margin in the country’s history in 1993.
The military annulled the results and threw him in prison.
He spent 4 years in a cell refusing to renounce his mandate.
On July 7 1998 the military announced he would be released that same day.
A senior US diplomat arrived to meet him at 3pm.
She poured him a cup of tea.
He started coughing. Collapsed to the floor. Was dead by 3:40pm.
The policeman whose job was to taste every drink before it reached the prisoner said he was sent out of the room before the tea was served.
It was the first time in two years a foreigner had given him food or drink without it being tasted first.
Official cause of death: heart failure.
No charges. No investigation. No answers.
The diplomat who poured the tea later became National Security Adviser to Barack Obama.

This is an absolute scandal.
Serbian football team Crvena Zvezda has been fined €95,500 after fans choreographed a motif of Jesus Christ!
UEFA fined them for "displaying a message not fit for a sporting event and bringing the reputation of football and UEFA itself into disrepute".
The image was a traditional Orthodox tifo of Jesus Christ or Saint Simeone the Myrrh-flowing, while the text underneath read:
“May our faith lead you to victory".
UEFA has stopped games for Ramadan and openly promoted BLM and LGBT campaigns during tournaments.
But Christianity is ‘inappropriate’?!
What an utter disgrace.
