6'0, 8% body fat. The result of unlimited sugar, 6000 calories a day with no gear and hardly any training. I run 18 minute 5ks while low carbers need coffee to get out of bed. The fat you eat, is the fat you wear. The sugar you eat is the energy you have to burn that fat.
@Diet0Nutrition Denovolipogenesis from fructose accounts for a minority of liver fat accumulation. The majority occurs from circulating fatty acids whether that be from endogenous adipose tissue or exogenous fatty acid consumption.
@bobdones0@ketsuonair@godspeed_aflame Correct. I'd say 1000g of carbs per day is a requirement for peak performance and it doesn't matter if you're an athlete or in a wheelchair.
@EllEssDee1@godspeed_aflame Based on what? Everyone else's opinion? Studies that use a mixed diet full of fat and blame calories overall? Not good enough mate, start thinking for yourself.
@Diet0Nutrition The leanest people on the planet disagree. De novo lipogenesis even from pure fructose is incredibly inefficient in the context of the human body. Under normal circumstances 99% of fructose is either converted to glucose, glycogen or lactate.
@LiveAncestral Instead of how much glucose am I asking my pancreas to manage today. Maybe the better question is how much air am I asking my lungs to manage today or how much water am I asking my kidneys to manage lol 😆
@NCoromba@ProfTimNoakes@AlexZverev Correct. Tim Noakes and all other high fat dieters fail an oral glucose tolerance test and are therefore type 2 diabetic.
@ProfTimNoakes@AlexZverev I eat unlimited sugar, 6000 calories of carbs a day and probably have lower fasting insulin levels than anyone here. Learn about the randle cycle mate before you spread any more bullshit.
