At Tulsa Term, students use academic skills & experience to encounter the people & places of Tulsa, face real problems & create solutions to make a difference.
Such a joy to connect with our friends @TulsaTerm today! Students @TulsaSchools@hollandhall@phillipsacademy discussed empathy and practiced deep listening as they learned about peer research into civics education and food supply chains in Portland, ME.

The Joinery, a Living Bldg Proj is one of our partners in curriculum. We had plans to spend quality time in this space this month, but we're making the most of our online experience with their help. #Sustainability#livingbuilding#STEMeducation https://t.co/Ti1MCwanMD
In keeping with TT"s 4Ps - Place People Policy Promise - we engaged in a seminar with Housing Dir, Becky Gilgo. Among many things, we discussed how Tulsa's Affordable Housing Strat is designed to address historical and current housing inequities (see redlining & urban renewal).
