17 years ago our great fire service lost 343 of our members. Today we continue to lose members due to health issues caused by responding to the towers that tragic day. Tumwater Firefighters will never forget those that paid the ultimate sacrifice that day. #neverforget
Tumwater FF’s want to clarify that our support of the Tumwater teachers union is from our union to theirs. This support is in no way affiliated with the City of Tumwater. The Support is yielded off duty and is not done on city time, with city money, or with city equipment.

For the first time in 21 years the Executive board of Local 2409 will not have Brian Hurley on the board. Brian recently ended his run as 5th district representative for the WSCFF. We can't thank Brian enough for everything he has done and continues to do for our Firefighters!
