The way Thando asked her questions and the facial expressions instantly looked like she was mocking her. It was like she was waiting for her to embarrass herself. There was no respect in that interview. Nothing was believable because she clearly set the tone for that. Nonhle made mistakes as a child star, that part of her story wasn’t handled with care; so she couldn’t be vulnerable. She was consistently having to reaffirm herself and defend her work. I think the same conversation could have been better if it was handled by someone that truly cared to give her grace and compassion. Even worse, she wasn’t listening to her! She was just asking because she had to have the conversation. On top of that she herself doesn’t respect her, your eyes said it all. You can tell when someone has a hidden agenda against you. She just knows how to “fake” professionalism. “pretty hostile” environment.
