A repeated mistake might need more than just forgiveness.

In fact, even whether to forgive a one off mistake is a personal choice, shaped by individual experiences, circumstances, and considerations.

At the same time, let’s remember that mistakes do happen. Wrong things are said. Poor choices are sometimes made. An occasional slip does not make a person bad.

People who acknowledge their mistakes, genuinely regret them, take responsibility, and sincerely strive to do better deserve understanding and an opportunity to grow.

What we need to be careful of, however, are those who show no remorse, accept no responsibility, and repeatedly engage in the same toxic behaviour.

A mistake can be forgiven.

A pattern is something we must pay attention to.
