It was a sunny afternoon when my young nephew, came to stay with me for a few days. Being an avid gamer, he brought along his computer and spent most of his time playing his favorite game, where he played the role of a muscular outlaw .He didn't notice me sneaking up behind him.
As I watched him play, I couldn't help but notice the realism of the game. The graphics were so good that it almost felt like I was watching a movie. He was in the middle of a high-speed chase with the police, having just stolen a car. The officers were hot on his trail, and he was doing everything he could to evade them.

Finally, he managed to ditch the car and ran into a nearby building, with the police in hot pursuit. Once inside, he pulled out his gun and aimed it at the officers, ready to shoot if they got too close. That's when I decided to intervene.

I touched him and shouted, "So you want to kill the police, Abi ? Oya kill the Police na I am watching!!!

He was startled and turned around to face me. He lowered his gun, realizing that he had been caught in the act. He looked embarrassed, knowing that I was a cop myself.

I sat down beside him and talked to him about the dangers of glorifying criminal behavior. I also told him about the risks associated with pointing a gun at a police officer and how it could lead to serious consequences. That parents should take interest in games children play and films they watch cannot be overemphasized.
