What if your AI could actually use the apps you already work with?
That question got me exploring AI automation and one of the tools that caught my attention is @composio.
So, what exactly is @composio?
In simple terms, it helps AI agents connect with the apps and tools we already use.
Think about Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Drive, Slack, and other everyday tools.
Instead of AI only giving you an answer, it can work with these tools as part of a workflow.
For example, an AI agent could take information from one app, organize it somewhere else, and help you complete a task across multiple tools.
That's what I'm currently experimenting with.
I'm not just learning how @composio works. I want to see what I can actually build with it.
I'll be sharing the experiments, workflows, and lessons here in subsequent posts.
I connected 5 of my everyday apps to an AI agent:
- Google Calendar
- Gmail
- Google Tasks
- Google Drive
- Google Sheets
Then I asked it to give me a concise morning brief based on what was happening across those apps.
The idea was simple:
5 APPS → 1 AI AGENT → 1 MORNING BRIEF.
Instead of checking each app separately, I wanted to see if I could bring the information together and get one useful summary.
This was an experiment, not a fully automated recurring assistant.
I manually set up the workflow and tested what @composio could pull together from the tools I already use.
And that's what made the experiment interesting.
AI doesn't always need to create something from scratch.
Sometimes, the useful part is getting it to work with information that's already sitting across the apps you use every day.
I'm still figuring out where this can go, but this gave me a better idea of what AI automation actually looks like in practice.
I've pasted the prompt I used for the ‘Morning Brief', in the comment section below.
Run this prompt in your AI Model that has Composio connected:
"I connected 5 of my everyday apps to you: Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Tasks, Google Drive, and Google Sheets.
Give me a concise morning brief based on the information available in those apps right now.
Include:
- What I have scheduled today from Google Calendar
- Any important emails or updates that need my attention from Gmail
- Any pending or overdue tasks from Google Tasks
- Any useful recent files or work activity from Google Drive
- Any relevant updates in Google Sheets
Organize the response into clear sections and keep it concise. Only report information you actually find in the connected apps. Do not invent or assume anything."
@StephanieInii I help businesses connect AI with their everyday tools and workflows to save time, reduce repetitive work, and get more done with less manual effort.

Your AI is probably sitting next to your apps instead of working with them.
Think about the tools you already use every day: email, calendars, spreadsheets, documents, project management and social media.
What happens when AI can actually connect to those tools and work with them?
Instead of just giving you an answer, an AI agent can potentially pull information from your apps, organize it, move information between tools and help you complete parts of a workflow.
That question is what got me exploring AI automation.
I'm currently experimenting with @composio to understand what this looks like in real life.
I'll be sharing a practical video soon on something useful I learnt from my experiments that could be of help, especially to content creators.
