🚨 Barça are finalising their bid to host the 2029 UEFA Champions League final at the newly renovated Spotify Camp Nou, with the documentation set to be submitted to UEFA by Wednesday. With a capacity of 104,600 spectators, it will be the largest stadium in Europe, and the bid has the full backing of both the Spanish government and the Barcelona City Council.

The only rival bid comes from Wembley Stadium in London, with UEFA expected to announce the host venue on September 15.

Camp Nou previously hosted the European Cup finals in 1989 and 1999, while Wembley has staged eight finals to date.

One potential obstacle for Barcelona's bid is that Spain is already scheduled to host the 2027 Champions League final at Madrid's Metropolitano Stadium.
