I’ll always disagree with this take
Zoro won’t make a move unless it’s at his captains discretion. Plus you’re acting like Zoro’s some nigga that lacks empathy
Zoro knows Sanji won’t ever put serious hands on Luffy unless there was a reason. If he was there, he’d just observe
your country Brazil led the occupation of haiti after the 2004 coup and helped spread disease, murders of civilians, and sexual abuse. keep haiti out of your mouth you antiBlack worm.
@saintaster_@yuri_bullet Todo dia eu """agradeço""" pelo plano de embranquecimento do brasil foi por misigenação e não por isolamento, se não estaríamos nesse nível de racismo também
@AnaTeresaGM I don't think it's offensive to say y'all. It's the people who won't accept that BA/AAs can feel offended when their culture is being misused. Yes, some people in the global south can't "research" but those on twitter clearly have access to the internet and choose ignorance.
@AnaTeresaGM Anyone saying using "y'all" is racist is stupid. What I've been seeing is Black Americans upset with people who are claiming they have no culture while using their dialect. And people who are acting like it's somehow racist to not want people to misuse their dialect
@AnaTeresaGM Yeah, I grew up speaking another language. My point isn't to stick to what you learned in school, it's to make sure what you're saying is correct and inoffensive.
@AnaTeresaGM You brought up the argument that people learn English for better opportunities, and this is true. But let's all be honest and admit that only on the internet do people use (and misuse) AAVE because people outside the U.S. don't go to their workplace and start using AAVE
@AnaTeresaGM It's important to pay attention to and consider the global south. However, in this case, all Black Americans are asking for is that people simply Google for 5 seconds so that people don't misuse their dialect when it's constantly being treated as slang/trendy.
This entire debate it's funny, because my personal rule of thumb is that I'm not gonna use a term if I have to search the meaning of on Urban Dictionary, because I don't want to end up on AAVE struggle tweets
Mind you, Jim Crow ended in 1964, 2 years AFTER my mom was born, and discriminatory practices didn't just stop immediately. Do you legit believe that wouldn't create a deep cultural chasm between white/black Americans worth acknowledging in you analysis of American imperialism?
@Xx_insano_xX123@0nemanRmy@rougehibiscus There's still no white dialect, and people who say the "acting white" thing are called out for being stupid (and racist). You can find AAVE wherever black people are in America, but certain words/expressions AND accents are different depending on the state/city/region, yes.
@Xx_insano_xX123@0nemanRmy@rougehibiscus Yikes, you do not know what you're talking about. There is no "white dialect." Moreover, not all black people use AAVE, and when they don't they use it, they don't get weird looks. There are some people who are non-black who use AAVE because of the region they grew up in.
Raping & drugging another student for 7 hours posting it all over social media and inviting your bitch ass friends and your sentence is to write an essay….who do we kiII first?
