Congratulations to our #VisitRwanda partner Paris Saint-Germain @PSG_inside on their well-deserved UEFA @ChampionsLeague title and on being crowned champions for the second consecutive year.
Congratulations as well to @Arsenal on reaching the final and fighting with determination until the very end.
Both clubs have made their supporters proud, but tonight, PSG proved to be the better team!
🎯Did you know? Western intelligence agencies quickly identified Hutu extremists as the perpetrators of the 1994 plane attack, which served as both the pretext and the signal for the mass killings of Tutsi to begin.
Within hours of the April 6, 1994 downing of President Juvénal Habyarimana’s plane, multiple Western intelligence services, including those of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, converged on a stark, unmistakable conclusion:
The attack had originated from within the Hutu extremist power structure itself!
Belgian military intelligence (SGR), deeply embedded in Rwanda through its UN peacekeeping role, produced a damning analysis as early as April 22, 1994.
It stated unequivocally that “everything now suggests” the perpetrators belonged to the “hardline faction of the Ba-Hutu within the Rwandan army.”
The speed and organization of the ensuing killings, the analysis stressed, proved premeditation.

On the International Day of Reflection on the 1994 Genocide Against the Tutsi in Rwanda, we mourn the victims & pay tribute to the survivors.
We must learn from past failures & protect the living — by rejecting hatred, inflammatory rhetoric & incitement to violence.
Today, Col Deo Mutabazi, the Defence and Military Adviser to the Permanent Mission of Rwanda to the United Nations (also DA to Jamaica), together with the RDF Engineer Contingent Commander, Col Moses Kayigamba, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Defence Staff of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), Vice Admiral Antonette Wemyss-Gorman, at JDF Headquarters in Kingston.
The Vice Admiral Wemyss-Gorman commended the leadership of the Rwanda Defence Force, for deploying troops to assist the people of Jamaica in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa.
Col Déo Mutabazi conveyed a message from the RDF Chief of Defence Staff General MK Mubarakh expressing gratitude for the strong cooperation between the Rwanda Defence Force and the Jamaica Defence Force, emphasizing that Rwanda remains committed to strengthening bilateral relations and stands ready to collaborate with Jamaica in other endeavors.
Over a two-month period, the RDF Engineer Contingent, in collaboration with JDF Engineers, successfully reconstructed 62 houses, including the construction of additional rooms for a school and improvements to a home for children with disabilities. The initiative significantly contributed to the recovery and rebuilding efforts for communities affected by the disaster.
Today’s drone attack in #Goma underscores the threat near #Rwanda’s border. While Rwanda is pressured to lift defensive measures, the #DRC & its coalition, including the #FDLR meant to be neutralized under the Washington Accords remains active in eastern DRC.

A genocidal militia, the FDLR, is within the FARDC, and the UN has repeatedly reported this.
Who should be sanctioned, The country defending itself from an existential threat, or the country fueling that threat? Watch this👇
This is not Kigali.
Not France. Not Europe 🌍
This is Rubavu District in Rwanda’s Western Province 🇷🇼
Events like the Tour du Rwanda help visitors and foreigners discover and travel across the entire country. Rwanda’s beauty speaks for itself ✨
“everything that is happening in DRC is not new, it has happened before in Rwanda, but no one is learning from that experience,” Justice Minister Dr. Emmanuel Ugirashebuja told @CoulibalyBojana in an interview.
Tshisekedi is playing with fire.
He wants to change the name FDLR and call it FCLR.
Habyarimana Juvenal (Genocide planner) is Tshisekedi’s hope to eliminate the Tutsis.
The son of this Habyarimana is going to lead this FDLR aka FCLR which will have a political party and a military wing. The aim is to finish what Habyarimana didn’t finish.
Changing FDLR’s name and give it a new ruler won’t help Tshisekedi at all. It will be the end of him.
