@abcdefghi122112@TolleEnthusiast Amen. All these accounts that have been dragging Durbin now turning fanboy are embarrassing. Shows they actually know little about baseball.
@Hstlinghosptlis@SweetG1951@JohnGoldman You made this about height when the original discussion had nothing to do with it. A kid who hits puberty early can be 6’2” so I’m not even following your logic.
This has nothing to do with the height of my children? Sounds like you’re the one insecure about height.
@SweetG1951@Hstlinghosptlis@JohnGoldman Just watched a 13u all-star game for the New England elite baseball players and you had 5’6” players hitting the ball as hard and far as boys who were 6 feet tall and likewise with pitching. You’re making generalizations or citing to exceptions to try to prove your position.
@Hstlinghosptlis@SweetG1951@JohnGoldman What point are you trying to make? That shorter guys can’t be elite athletes? The most elite athlete in our town’s high school is a 5’7,5”football and baseball powerhouse. Both strength and speed. He’s been elite since he was in elementary school.
@SweetG1951@JohnGoldman Disagree. The kids that are elite at 12 and 13 typically stay elite. Puberty doesn’t turn someone into an elite athlete. Puberty makes kids stronger but you either have elite athlete genetics or you don’t.
@cnnbrk So basically he accomplished nothing other than reopening the strait which closed due to his decision to go to war. What a waste of lives and resources.
@TPCarney@conorsen I dread the day my son stops playing baseball. So many core memories. Nothing better than watching your kids do what brings them joy.
