After months of preparation, the 13th Annual Conference on International Studies (#CESRAN2026) has successfully concluded in Budapest.
Bringing together scholars from 36 countries, hosting inspiring keynote speakers, and witnessing so many meaningful discussions and new collaborations once again reminded me why international academic engagement matters.
Organising a conference of this scale is never the work of one person. I am especially grateful to my friend and colleague Professor Rahman Dağ, whose dedication, professionalism, and countless hours of work made this conference possible. It has been a privilege to organise this journey together.
I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to our hosts at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), especially Dr. Tamás Dudlák and Dr. Rashed Daher, for their warm hospitality, invaluable support, and outstanding collaboration throughout the entire process.
My heartfelt thanks also go to our keynote speakers, panel chairs, presenters, volunteers, and every participant who contributed to the vibrant academic atmosphere of the conference.
Every conference comes to an end, but the friendships formed, ideas exchanged, and collaborations initiated will continue long after we leave Budapest.
Hope to see you all at #CESRAN2027…
Budapest hosted a great brainstorming conference in international relations and political science. Through #CESRAN2026, we are proud to bring researchers from 36 different geographies to present original work on a shared platform in Hungary. See you next year! #ELTE
