The only mistake BlueCo made was the desperate panic appointment of Liam Rosenior straight after. Everything else is on the snake who was already plotting his escape.

That’s exactly why Chelsea are squeezing a £10m+ settlement out of City right now. Chelsea have evidence of an improper approach but opted for compensation over a formal dispute.

I said it from day one.

He wasn’t “pushed out.” The second those Pep succession links dropped, Maresca turned into a proper diva: moaning publicly, clashing with the board, throwing the medical staff under the bus, and making himself toxic. The excuse was that he left because he wasn’t given a defender he asked for but he couldn’t leave before the season started. He had to leave in the middle of a season after he agreed negotiations with Man City.

He put on a show throwing Tatum in live interviews knowing fully well that the gullible Chelsea fans who are already angry with the ownership will not question him but attack Blueco.
