Remote jobs are not only about getting paid in USD.

It’s also about:⬇️

1. Unlimited PTOs
I don’t have to do calculations while taking leaves or request my manager to approve it.

This photo was taken on Tuesday afternoon, no festival, no holiday. I can travel whenever I want.

2. Hardware ownership
I don’t have to return my Macbook or home office setup if I leave the company. It’s gadgets are mine.

3. Flexible working hours
I choose whether I want to work at the midnight or 6 am in the morning or take a nap in the noon.

4. Travel
I couldn’t have imagined myself walking on the streets of Paris and Barcelona at the age 22. Company retreat is a great way to connect and learn from your peers and of course, travel the world.

5. Short notice period / No bond
I don’t have to work for 3 extra months even if I feel stuck at a company. Mostly it’s between 15-30 days.

6. Zero politics
I’ve heard 100s of stories of toxic office culture, it directly affects the growth of an employee.

The list goes on and I can keep on writing.
Having said that, it’s not easy to find a remote job and it’s not fun all the time.

There will be times when you will have to work in non office hours or plan your holiday according to your work. Remote jobs are also risky compared to corporate job at MNCs.
