Shinji Pollard is the 5A state champion in the 110 m hurdles! He also shattered the 5A state record and ran the second fastest time in all of Kansas state history!

Congratulations to @Piper_Track's Max Clark who won the 5A state javelin title with a throw of 193-7, more than 10 feet ahead of the next best thrower.
Max Clark is Piper‘s first state champion of the 2026 season! Max won the javelin competition Friday, May 29 in convincing fashion, leading the competition from the first throw. congratulations Max!

Boys 4x400m Relay - Shinji Pollard, Eric Seigel, Quinn Hanson, Andrew Durham
The track and field team qualified several individuals for the state meet Friday, May 22 at Regionals in DeSoto. Both the boys and girls teams were Regional runner up in the meet as well. Congratulations to all the state Qualifiers.

The girls 4x400m relay broke the school record Thursday, May 14 at the UKC championship. The girls ran a 3:59.13, breaking the previous record by over 3 seconds. Relate to team members are Nora Turney, Ella Eads, Elizabeth Arenas, and Anneliese Lockwood. Congratulations!
The Piper girls track & field team won the program’s first conference championship in school history! The Pirates scored 158.5 points to become the 2026 UKC Champions. Several PRs and heavy workloads from key athletes helped propel the team to victory. Congratulations, Girls!
