Max Blair Steals the Show in Thrilling July 4th America Birthday 250 at Muskingum County Speedway!
The Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series rolled into Muskingum County Speedway on Independence Day for the 50-lap America Birthday 250, and it delivered fireworks on the track to match the ones in the sky.
Hudson OโNeal and Clay Harris earned the front row starting spots, setting the stage for an intense battle.
From the drop of the green, Clay Harris (the โPeanut Manโ) jumped to the early lead on lap 1 and looked dominant. But Hudson OโNeal wasted no time, charging back to the front on lap 2. Behind them, Moran worked the low line relentlessly while Harris and OโNeal traded momentum on the high side, with Moran inching closer to the leaders every lap.
By lap 10 the field hit heavy traffic, yet the race stayed caution-free a testament to clean, hard racing all night. OโNeal continued to lead, with Harris in second and Moran in third.
Then the fireworks really began. Moran slid past Harris to take second, only for Harris to battle right back. Meanwhile, Max Blair came charging out of nowhere like he so often does, surging into fourth and clearly the fastest car on the track as he closed rapidly on the top three.
With just five laps remaining, Blair made his move. He snatched second from Moran, then stunningly drove around OโNeal for the lead. Three laps to go, and Max Blair was out front in what had become a one car show at the end.
The race stayed green to the checkers in a dramatic one-lap dash. Blair held off all challengers to score a spectacular victory in the America Birthday 250!
Huge shoutout to Max Blair what an unbelievable drive and one hell of a race! From deep in the pack to the front in the closing laps, Blair reminded everyone why heโs one of the most exciting drivers in dirt late models.
Congratulations to the entire top five and every driver who put on a show for the fans on the Fourth of July. Letโs go racing! ๐๐โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝโโ

World of Outlaws Late Model Series Roars at River Cities Speedway!
The 40-lap feature at River Cities Speedway delivered pure dirt-track drama from green to checkered!
Ethan Dotson and Sam Mars drew for the pole, with Dotson jumping to the early lead. Sam Mars quickly faded to third as Bobby Pierce charged into second. Meanwhile, Tyler Erb was on a mission storming from 8th to 4th in just five laps while Davenport climbed from 12th into the top 10.
By lap 8, the leaders hit heavy traffic. Dotson sliced through like a knife, but Pierce stayed glued to his bumper, refusing to let the lead get comfortable. Tyler Erb kept the pressure on, moving toward the front as the field scrambled.
A caution flew on lap 12 (29 to go) after Ryan Gustin (fresh off a LCS win) slowed. On the restart, it was Bobby Pierce, Tyler Erb, and Ethan Dotson up front. Pierce wasted no time, carving through lap traffic like butter as the pack closed in.
With 12 laps remaining, Davenport had gained six positions and was charging. Then, with just 8 to go, Tyler Erb mounted one final hard charge for the lead but Pierce was simply too smooth in traffic.
Bobby Pierce held on to capture his 4th straight World of Outlaws Late Model victory! ๐ฅ
What a show at River Cities!

Lernerville Speedway Delivers High-Drama Late Model Features Before Rain Threatens
Lernerville Speedway hosted two thrilling 25-lap features on a night that felt like a race against both competitors and the weather. With raindrops already appearing, the track provided plenty of action, slick racing lines, and hard-charging passes.
Feature #1: Thornton Jr. Grinds Out the Win in Chaotic Opener
Carson Ferguson and Hudson OโNeal rolled to the front row to start the first feature. Chaos erupted immediately out of turn two as Dan Ebert jumped to second, shoving Ferguson back while Josh Rice pushed him even further down the order. Ferguson slipped up twice more, losing additional positions in the early going.
Ricky Thornton Jr. (RTJ) steadily worked his way forward, grabbing second before another slip dropped him to third. Josh Rice settled into a strong second-place run, hanging tough with the leaders. The field hit lap traffic just before the first caution flew.
On the restart with 16 laps remaining, the top three were OโNeal, Rice, and RTJ. Rice was quickly slid by RTJ, while Ebert moved into second. OโNeal continued to lead, but RTJ built momentum up top and launched a massive slider into turn one. OโNeal got over the cushion, opening the door for RTJ to take the lead. Rice held second momentarily before Brandon Overton moved to third. Rice made a daring bid for the lead but got completely sideways somehow saving the car and keeping it rolling.
Another caution came out with raindrops reported on the track, forcing a tense moment for officials and fans alike. The race returned to green with nine laps to go, RTJ leading Rice and Overton.
Overton quickly passed Rice for second, while OโNeal charged forward. Yet another caution reset the field with eight laps left. On the ensuing restart, Rice slid high, allowing OโNeal and Ebert past. Overton threw a bold slide job on RTJ for the lead and held it for half a lap, but RTJ reclaimed the top spot. Ebert followed through to take second, dropping Overton to third.
In a race full of slips, slides, and cautions, Ricky Thornton Jr. navigated the chaos to score a hard-fought victory in Feature #1.
Feature #2: Sheppard Charges to Victory as Rain Looms
With rain closing in, officials fast-tracked the second feature. Devin Moran and Alex Ferree led the field to green. McCowan jumped to second on the opening lap while Ferree faded quickly back to sixth.
McCowan pressured Moran for the lead early, but Moran pulled away initially. Brandon Sheppard, starting seventh, rocketed into third before a caution slowed the field when Bronson slowed on the backstretch.
With 20 laps to go on the restart, Moran led but Sheppard had an outstanding jump, clearing McCowan for second and immediately challenging for the lead. Sheppard took the top spot from Moran shortly after. McCowan slipped back to fifth as Max Blair moved into third.
At the 10-laps-to-go mark, McCowan battled Blair for third while Michael Norris charged the high side. Norris dispatched McCowan and then Blair to secure third but Blair ending up taking 3rd back from Norris. Up front, Sheppard had checked out, sailing away after seizing the lead.
Brandon Sheppard dominated the second half of the race, cruising to victory in Feature #2 as the field raced against the approaching weather.
Despite the rain threat cutting the night short, Lernerville delivered classic dirt track racing full of sliders, saves, and determined charges to the front. Fans left with plenty of excitement as Thornton Jr. and Sheppard added wins to their seasons.โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ

Bobby Pierce Dominates for $12,000 Victory at I-94 Speedway
Fergus Falls, MN โ After a three-year absence, the World of Outlaws Late Models returned to I-94 Speedway on Thursday night, treating fans to a thrilling 40-lap feature worth $12,000 to the winner.
Dallon Murty and Tim McCreadie brought the field to the green from the front row, with the young Murty taking the early lead. McCreadie challenged immediately on the opening lap, but Murty shut the door firmly. Just three laps in, a caution slowed the action.
On the restart, Bobby Pierce seized the moment and drove past Murty to take the lead. Murty settled into second while McCreadie dropped to third. Behind them, a strong battle erupted involving Nick Hoffman, Tyler Dotson, and Tyler Erb. Dotson eventually pulled away from the group, with Erb settling into position between Dotson and Hoffman.
A caution on lap 14 (26 laps remaining) bunched the field once again. Pierce maintained control on the restart, now with Murty and McCreadie restarting in the second row. While Pierce began to pull away at the front, intense racing unfolded from fifth through eighth. Another caution flew when Dotson suffered a flat tire.
With 21 laps to go, the top three remained Pierce, McCreadie, and Murty. Yet another tire-related caution soon followed. On the ensuing restart, Murty lost several positions, slipping back to sixth as Tyler Erb, Hoffman, and Ryan Gustin moved forward.
Hoffman advanced to third by passing Gustin, then set his sights on second. He successfully took the spot from McCreadie as Pierce continued to stretch his advantage at the front.
A final caution set up a five-lap shootout with Pierce, Hoffman, and McCreadie in the top three. When the green flag waved for the last time, no one could match the pace of the No. 32 machine. Bobby Pierce drove away to a commanding victory, securing the $12,000 payday at I-94 Speedway.
The strong crowd in Fergus Falls witnessed a competitive night of racing highlighted by multiple cautions and hard-fought battles throughout the field. The World of Outlaws Late Models will look to build on this exciting return to Minnesota dirt.โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ

Bobby Pierce Prevails in Chaotic World of Outlaws Late Model Thriller at Ogilvie Raceway
Ogilvie, MN โ After a seven-year absence, the World of Outlaws Late Models returned to Ogilvie Raceway on Tuesday night for a $12,000-to-win, 40-lap showdown that delivered exactly what fans hoped for, high drama, heavy hitters, and plenty of sliders.
Two future Hall of Famers rolled to the front row, setting the stage for an epic battle. Jonathan Davenport showed serious speed, particularly off corner two, while Bobby Pierce and Tyler Erb traded aggressive moves early. Pierce and Davenport went toe-to-toe lap after lap in a classic โTom and Jerryโ duel.
As the leaders caught lap traffic with 27 laps remaining, the intensity only grew. Nick Hoffman and Tyler Erb waged their own war behind them, while a hard-charging driver in the Dotson machine tried to insert himself into the mix.
A caution flew with 22 laps to go. Drake Troutman, who had already encountered issues at the previous nightโs race at 141 Speedway, called it an evening after more trouble here. At the halfway point, the race had devolved into beautiful chaos Hall of Famers fighting for the lead while WoO regulars hustled to keep up amid sliders in every corner.
On the ensuing restart, Davenport made contact with the wall and suffered massive damage, ending his night. Hoffman seized the lead from Pierce, but the caution quickly returned when Tim McCreadie blew a tire.
With 21 laps complete, the field lined up again with Hoffman, Pierce, and Ryan Gustin up front. Hoffman pulled away on the restart as Erb moved into third past Gustin. Pierce, never one to be counted out, threw a bold slider on Hoffman that got canceled out by a caution.
Following that stoppage, Pierce struggled on the restart, allowing Gustin to briefly take second. Pierce responded with a spectacular two-for-one move, reclaiming both second and then the lead in one daring sequence.
Cody Overton was forced to retire with an electrical issue after showing strong speed earlier in the event.
With nine laps remaining, Pierce sat comfortably in the driverโs seat. Rookie of the Year contender Trey Mills had quietly worked his way up to fourth before another caution slowed the field. As the saying goes, cautions breed cautions.
Once racing resumed with seven laps to go, Bobby Pierce took control. He drove away flawlessly over the final seven circuits to score the $12,000 victory in what was easily one of the most entertaining races of the young week.
A wild, slider-filled night at Ogilvie Raceway proved the wait was well worth it. The World of Outlaws Late Models put on a show worthy of the return.โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ

Dale McDowell Delivers Masterclass Victory at Smokey Mountain Speedway
SMOKY MOUNTAIN SPEEDWAY โ The 60 year old Hall of Famer showed the next generation exactly why experience still reigns supreme in dirt late model racing.
Dale McDowell dominated the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series 60-lap feature on Sunday night, leading all 60 laps and turning back every challenge to score a commanding victory at the fast Tennessee oval.
From the moment the green flag dropped, McDowell looked like the man to beat. After an early three car pileup forced a complete restart on the opening lap, the veteran from Chickamauga, Georgia, rocketed to the lead and never looked back. By lap 11 he was already slicing through heavy lap traffic, pulling away at will.
Caution flags were the only thing that could slow him down and even those barely made a dent.
The field got one major reset at the halfway point (lap 40), but McDowell was unfazed. On the restart he shot out front once again while Devin Moran (โThe Mailmanโ) began his charge. Moran worked past Brandon Sheppard for second and began to close in on the leader during the final stages.
With seven laps remaining, the crowd sensed a potential showdown between the veteran McDowell and the hard charging Moran. McDowell quickly extinguished any drama, smoothly navigating traffic and maintaining his gap to the checkered flag.
Also worth noting: Max Blair advanced a remarkable 13 positions, charging from 21st on the grid into the top eight. Meanwhile, Ricky Thornton Jr. (RTJ), who was running inside the top six, was forced to park early with engine issues.
In an era where young guns are often stealing the spotlight, McDowell reminded everyone that class and experience are still the ultimate equalizers on dirt. At 60 years young, the Hall of Famer just put on a clinic.
Congratulations to Dale McDowell on a picture perfect 60-lap domination at Smokey Mountain Speedway!

Bobby Pierce Dominates for Wire-to-Wire Victory at 141 Speedway (Bobby goes swimming after his 25K WIN!)
Bobby Pierce, known as โThe Smooth Operator,โ put on a masterclass in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series 60-lap feature at 141 Speedway, leading every lap to secure the win despite multiple challenges, heavy traffic, and a mid race rain delay.
Pierce jumped to an early lead and set a strong pace right from the drop of the green flag. Drake Troutman, starting in fifth, quickly made his presence felt, closing the gap and charging hard on the high side alongside Pierce through dense lap traffic. Troutman appeared poised to battle for the lead, but while running second, his car erupted in white smoke, ending his strong run and handing a major threat to Pierceโs dominance.
After a caution with 42 laps remaining, the field lined up with Pierce out front, Tyler Erb in second, and Ethan Dotson in third. Dotson threw aggressive sliders, including one from the โhighway,โ but held third as others like Tristan Chamberlain looked to advance. Tim McCreadie quietly worked his way into the top three after starting fourth, while Hoffman advanced from eighth to the top five, rebounding from a tough previous weekend.
As the race reached the halfway point, rain forced a delay a reminder of the previous nightโs washout. Once the track dried and racing resumed with 29 laps to go, Pierce maintained command. McCreadie slotted into second, with Erb fading to fourth. Dotson continued his aggressive style, sliding McCreadie for second, but contact with the wall dropped him back. Hoffman capitalized, taking third from Dotson and pressuring McCreadie for second, though he settled for third at the checkered flag.
Up front, nothing could touch Pierce. The Illinois driver navigated traffic and cautions flawlessly, cruising to the victory and extending his strong 2026 season.
The night featured plenty of action high-side battles, slider attempts, and early track traffic but Pierceโs smoothness proved decisive. With the $25,000 payday on the line in the two time champion delivered once again.โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ

Bobby Pierce โ Driver of the Week
Bobby Pierce had a monster week on the dirt late model scene. The Smooth Operator from Oakwood, Illinois, first struck at the inaugural Shale Crescent Dirt Cup at Muskingum County Speedway. Starting fifth in the 50-lap feature, he threw a big slide job on lap 28 and drove away to score the $20,000 victory his 14th win of the season.
Then on Friday night at West Virginia Motor Speedway, Pierce backed it up with another strong run in the Racefest Summer Championship opener. He led 17 laps and held off the field through cautions and challenges to grab the $12,000 check and his 10th World of Outlaws Late Model win of the year.

Team Lucas Oil โ Co-Drivers of the Week

West Virginia Motor Speedway WHAT A GEM ๐ ๐ณ Tyler Erb 30k Zyns for the win!!!!
Starting top 5:
1. Sheppard
2. Tyler Erb
3. Troutman
4. OโNeal
T-Carpenter brought out the early caution, but Tyler Erb found his line and jumped to the front. With a long race ahead, the cautions kept coming and the field kept shuffling.
With 37 to go, Erb was still leading, OโNeal up to 2nd, followed by Sheppard, Troutman, and Pierce. Off the restart, Erb got a great jump running the cushion, but the bottom was just as fast. Troutman threw a deep slider on Sheppard to take 3rd and suddenly had serious speed.
Trey Mills brought out another caution (OโNeal narrowly missing him off turn 2). Erb stayed ultra consistent up top the man has been on fire since that big Mansfield payday.
Dotson worked his way into the top 5, and he and Bobby traded nasty sliders for 4th before Bobby cleared him.
With 8 laps left, it was Erb on the cushion vs. OโNeal on the bottom. Off the restart, Troutman slid OโNeal for 2nd OโNeal threw it right back and the two went back and forth until Troutman took the spot for goodโฆ then another caution flew.
3 laps to go. Tyler Erb had been dominant all night on the top side. Could Troutman find anything for the Turbo Man?
Single-file restart. 3-lap dash to the finish.

๐What a dandy night at West Virginia Motor Speedway!๐ฅ
The World of Outlaws Late Models returned to the track for the first time since 2013, and they did NOT disappoint!
OโNeal jumped out to a rocket start and the early battle with Bobby Pierce was pure fire sliding through lap traffic, crossing over, throwing sliders. Bobby eventually found the right line and started to pull awayโฆ until Lap 16, when OโNeal got crossed up in traffic and spun, bringing out the caution.
With 10 to go, Brandon Sheppard showed his nose and stole the lead right before another yellow flew. From there it was absolute warfare! Sheppard and Pierce throwing insane sliders lap after lap, hammering the cushion and trading the lead back and forth.
Another caution with 5 to go. On the restart Sheppard tried the bottom it didnโt stick. Erb Jr. and Tyler Erb both got by him in a hurry. Cautions breed cautions, and with just 1 lap remaining, everyone was wonderingโฆ does anyone have anything left for Bobby?
Answer: No.
Bobby Pierce stayed smooth, hit his marks, and drove it straight to Victory Lane for his 52nd World of Outlaws win!
