Jamie Lee Komoroski pleaded guilty to charges including felony DUI resulting in death, felony DUI causing great bodily injury, and reckless homicide.

On Folly Beach in South Carolina, she drove while intoxicated (BAC more than three times the legal limit) and well over the speed limit, colliding with a golf cart carrying newlyweds and family members leaving a wedding reception. The bride, Samantha Miller, was killed; others, including the groom, were seriously injured.

She received a 25-year prison sentence (the maximum for the primary charge; other terms concurrent) and is currently incarcerated in South Carolina with a projected release around 2045. She is not eligible for parole.
