First and foremost, I would like to extend my deepest condolences and prayers to the Kneeland family, as well as all of Marshawn's friends and loved ones.
This news has shed a light on my personal past as well, that I would like to share in hopes that it will help allow others to feel comfortable sharing theirs. On June 5th, 2018, I attempted to take my life. I had felt helpless. I had felt that I had no place on this Earth, and that I had nowhere else to go but under.
I write this because in moments like these, the world needs to understand that it is okay, to not be okay. There is a stigma in our country, much more than in others, that men, specifically, are built to be these gladiators that feel no pain and no emotion. That stigma must end.
We are human beings. Made of thin skin that all bleed the same color when ripped open. We have faults. We aren't perfect. We are designed to fail. Because failure creates beauty. At the end of every dark tunnel, there is a light. It may not be present, but it is there. It's our job as human beings to help others find their light, and to help them shine that light in whichever way they feel is most beneficial to their mental sanity.
I hope this post will help others understand that there is no fault in admitting that they are not okay. There is no fault in seeking help. There is no fault in being vulnerable. Be who you are, and be that to the best of your ability.
#CowboysNation, I am behind you and I am with you. Whatever battles you are facing, my messages are always open and I am more than happy to be an ear for anyone.
Rest In Paradise, Marshawn. I truly hope you have found your peace. We will tell your brave story, and we will miss you dearly on this Earth 🕊️
We go again...
Every snap. Every play. Every Minute. Every Quarter. We must win. We control our fate. Never been more confident in a Cowboys team than I am right now.
Go be great, @dallascowboys 💙⭐️
Sean Taylor's hit on Brian Moorman during the Pro Bowl. Bring back this level of play or get rid of the game entirely
A talent stolen from the game way too soon. One of, if not, my all-time favorite non-Cowboys ever
Rest in Paradise, human hit stick. A shame we never got to see you fully evolve
Turpin may have saved our season on this play. Turnover and we miss out on the winning 3 points from Aubrey. You just can't coach hustle ⚡️
THANK YOU @KaVontaeTurpin ✊
Happy Thanksgiving, #CowboysNation ‼️
Hope you all enjoy your day with your family and friends. Today feels special for our #DallasCowboys
One play at a time. We control our destiny. Just keep winning 💯

As someone who has battled depression and attempted take to my own life, I know how dark and lonely that place can feel. Please, never be afraid to reach out for help. Your life matters more than you may ever realize.
My heart breaks for Marshawn Kneeland and his loved ones. This kind of loss is devastating beyond words. Men’s mental health is a crisis that still isn’t taken seriously enough in today’s world, and it costs far too many lives.
To anyone struggling — you are not alone. There is hope, even when it feels impossible to see it. And to anyone making fun of something like this… please look inward. Compassion costs nothing
