@lone_Wolf06 No it was written by Len Wein. Claremont did give Wein the idea of Polaris throwing Krakoa into space. Wein eventually decided Claremont had more enthusiasm for the X-Men so he hired him to take over starting with issue 94

@spacekicker TPBs are easily the best way to get people into comics. I tend to read digitally and buy the TPB/omni's of the books I really like, and lending a friend a TPB is how I always introduce them.
