Without the true record of what happened in the past, we can't understand what's planned for the future. Jan 6 was much, much worse than an "instigated" riot. If we don't get that, we can't ward off what's coming. 9/
Our inability to work together will ultimately be our undoing, and the fires in Los Angeles remind us that politics as usual doesn’t fly when the flames are that high.

3 takeaways from 4 years of Nazi research:
1. People aren’t psychology wired to accept extent of threat until it’s upon them
2. All you need to collapse democracy is a person willing to do it, and a supporting cast (Trump has both)
3. Once they start arresting people GTFO
There isn't a ton of new info in Smith's report, but there is some. For example, this Signal exchange between Jeff Clark and Scott Perry in which Smith says Clark revealed he didn't learn anything useful for Trump in his classified election fraud briefing. https://t.co/C36sAfaszl
NEW: Special counsel Jack Smith used his final report to say Trump is not exonerated for his "unprecedented criminal effort" to retain power in 2020.
He's only off the hook because he won, Smith said.

@PopBase Are they gonna hire security to patrol the restrooms & seating areas? Bc I don't think Starbucks employees get paid enough to police the building too.
In 2020, Alabama got $2.17 for every $1 paid in fedl taxes. https://t.co/D4pcNZqXhA In 2023 the fedl govt sent over $64 billion through direct payments, contracts, grants & other forms of financial assistance to Alabama, making putting it among the most federally dependent states in the nation. https://t.co/7rOYfiMqay.
At this point, there seem to be more Russian petroleum facilities burning than NOT burning.
Refineries, storage, transport facilities..
Kazan, Samara, Engels, Bryansk..
Biggest bombshell from scanning the report is definitely THIS juicy nugget:
“But for Mr. Trump’s election and imminent return to the presidency, the office assessed that the admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial.”
HOLY. SHIT. 🔥
A big thank you to Mexico’s @mexico new, impressive President Claudia Sheinbaum for sending Mexico’s best fire fighters to help LA battle these monstrous fires.
He would have been convicted, but we had to stop the prosecution because the fucker stole a fucking election—the very thing he falsely accused Biden of doing in 2020 that LAID THE FOUNDATION for his January 6th insurrection that disqualifies him from office under the Constitution
Gavin Newsom just lit up Republican Assemblymember Essayli’s voting record like, well, a wildfire.
Turns out Essayli’s been voting against billions—yes, billions—in wildfire prevention and funding. That includes $3.8 billion this year alone to keep CalFire running and 10,741 positions filled.
Add to that $3.5 billion last year and $2.5 billion over seven years for forest management and resilience.
In a state that’s literally on fire every year, opposing this kind of funding is like arguing against water in a drought.
The message is clear: while California burns, Essayli is voting to snuff out resources that could save lives, homes, and forests. Make it make sense.
To combat disinformation media and others need to understand it and label it correctly. Over a decade of insidious disinformation operations and I still see some in media say misinfo 🤦🏼♀️ including experts
Guess I have to yet again explain disinformation vs misinformation.
Misinformation is when someone unknowingly spreads false information while disinfo is the malicious intent of spreading lies.
What we are seeing on social media and by Trump and co, influencers, state actors is DISINFORMATION
The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) reported 36 million cases of suspected child rape media in 2023, containing 100 million files. #OpDeathEaters
An overwhelming 85% of child rape media distribution came from Zuckerberg's Meta—primarily Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
From millions of reports, NCMEC identified & escalated 63,892 cases involving urgent threats or children in imminent danger. In recent years, analysts have noted a sharp rise in cases demonstrating urgent or imminent threats to a child. Child-at-risk cases have surged to over 140%.
Through reviewing documents and interviewing former Meta content moderators, UK investigators found that payments for child rape media are taking place on Meta Pay and going undetected, and unreported, by the company.
Former Meta content moderators, employed between 2019 and 2022, told investigators that they saw illicit transactions taking place via Meta Pay that they believed to be related to child rape trafficking, were unable to communicate with Meta Pay compliance teams to flag these payments.
Meta employs 15,000 moderators and compliance analysts, but despite anti-money laundering rules, it lacks specific training to identify human trafficking-related money flows and codewords traffickers use. Additionally, Meta moderators and analysts are required to sign an NDA.
Former mods speaking in anonymity: “[Meta Pay] was an easy-to-use payment method since these [traffickers] were communicating on Messenger. The amounts sent could be 100s of dollars at a time,” “we saw were older men from [US], targeting girls in [Asia] and often travelling there.”
“If a human trafficker is using a codeword for selling girls, we didn’t get into that. We didn’t really get trained on those,” ... “You don’t even give it a second thought or even dig into that kind of stuff at all.”
Zuckerberg's Meta has been linked to child exploitation and the distribution of child rape media in the past. In 2023, the New Mexico's AG Raúl Torrez filed a lawsuit calling Facebook and Instagram “breeding grounds” for child rapists, human trafficking, grooming and solicitation.

In 2024, Oligarch Zuckerberg got a New Mexico Judge Bryan Biedscheid to grant his request to be dropped from the lawsuit, while Zuckerberg was allowed to walk away from responsibility the Judge dismissed Meta’s motion seeking to dismiss the state’s claims.
New Mexico judge grants Mark Zuckerberg’s request to be dropped from child safety lawsuit
A New Mexico judge has granted Mark Zuckerberg's request to be dropped from a lawsuit that alleges his company has failed to protect young users on its social media platforms from sexual exploitation.
Separately New Mexico's AG Raúl Torrez arrested several child rapist who used Meta to target their victims, he placed blame on Meta executives — including Mark Zuckerberg — and said that the company was putting profits above the interests of parents and children.
As part of New Mexico’s lawsuit, prosecutors said they had uncovered internal documents in which Meta employees estimate about 100,000 children every day are subjected to sexual harassment, grooming on the company’s platforms.
Zuckerberg's Meta went on to make it easier for human traffickers and child rapists to operate. Meta introduced end-to-end encryption to Facebook Messenger in late 2023, making it impossible to moderate, meaning millions of reports wouldn't be submitted to law enforcement.
A Senate Judiciary Committee was held for Mark Zuckerberg which was used to press him about the company's failure to prevent its platform from being used for human trafficking and child rape. Zuckerberg used the opportunity for a PR op making a show of "apologizing" to victims.
Victims wrote: “If [Zuckerberg] is going to stand by his business decision that prioritizes profit over children ... we will not let him do so easily. We will not be silenced,”
When asked by US senator Hawley: "Will you commit to compensating the victims?" "Will you set up a victims' compensation fund? With your money? The money you made on these families sitting behind you? Yes or no?"
Zuckerberg responded: "I don't think that that's … my job is …"
