@ableeyes3 Yes, there are many people who are afraid of the critters in the woods. I have never in my life been attacked by any animals in the woods. I have spent a lot of time there, too. Moose are more likely to attack than fisher.
@ableeyes3 I can't imagine ever being attacked by one of these. But, having a gun in the woods is just common sense any where there are grizzly bears. Or bear spray for black bears.
@2reynolds7 Cool, you never know. It's a small world. I am up there every year camping, kayaking and fishing and I do the fall deer/bear season usually around the first of October. Usually the West Canada Lake wilderness is where I go. But, I wander. Maybe we'll bump into each other.
@armed_squirrel@Montice43189380 I don't do as much as I used to. But, many of these newer to the game gardeners don't have the stomach for slaughtering all the critters. But, this is essential for varmint control. Or having a good dog. They'll do it your you.
@armed_squirrel@Montice43189380 yes, when I was growing up, I was assigned farm varmint killing duty. I had leg hold traps and a .22 and had to dispatch all those things. I was just a little kid. many people don't do this anymore.
@armed_squirrel@Montice43189380 Yes, processing sucks. This is why the natives just threw a fish in a hole with the seed. They were smart like that. I like those lazy smart techniques.
