Preface: this is me venting, getting a little frustration off of my chest— I am not mad at anyone specifically, just mad at the situation and my inability apparently to fix it.

Gonna be real for a moment, but I was recently made aware that this ACGgoods service is not in fact like Etsy where you can sell handmade or home-printed goods, but is a print-on-demand service for far more than art prints, postcards or stickers.

For context, the above are really the only sorts of fan merchandise authorized to sell through a printing or manufacturing service (because god I nor Neko do not have the time to research each individual item). After a brief search I found... a *lot* of products on that website from multiple individual shops that are just... completely disregarding the policy that Neko had communicated.

I hate sending unauthorized stuff to him. I hate having to tell him 'this company/person/shop is selling unauthorized items' because I am exhausted and so is he-- it's not malice or a lack of desire for artists to make money off of their art and products, I'm certain it won't be an issue in the future, but... god. It's disheartening to be the person who formatted the tumblr blog, the one who upkeeps the pages and code and links, the one who WROTE OUT THE FAQ, and it seems that nobody even looks at it.

I know that the askbox is open infrequently and Neko can be hard to get ahold of directly, but considering that I go out of my way to answer questions and messages across tumblr and twitter when I have a full time office job, chronic health issues and I'm not actively being paid to be a moderator/PR manager for Neko or his game (which in itself is fine, he is my friend and I genuinely enjoy supporting this game which has brought me so much joy and a deep love of voice acting and a whole lot of other good things).

This is more of a vent than anything, especially since some people who follow me have opened up their own shops on ACGgoods and are actively selling TFC fan merch that don't follow the policy-- I'm not wanting people to be scared or to get anyone in any trouble. I genuinely want to see fans create merchandise and make money off of their hard work. However, please for the love of god check the FAQ or just send me a message if you're unsure on something because at this point I can't imagine how stressed Neko is having to juggle all of this (game development, weekly game updates and AMA content, partnership/merchandise agreements w/GimmeSwag and Chun Ji Li, social media management AND unauthorized fan merchandise) while he's desperately trying to push his shop out that may or may not end up being a full time job in itself.

So yeah, mostly venting right now as Darth the random person on the internet and not Darth the official moderator of the TFC blog who genuinely wants to help his beloved friend as much as possible despite doing everything for the love and passion of fandom alongside health issues and a full time job: please read the faq if you haven't. Just look at it. Please. I'll try to answer as many questions as I can if something doesn't make sense and update the FAQ's wording if something is overly ambiguous or needs to be clarified.
