Today we took our character traits lesson & turned it into a class building experience! Students walked around the room while music played then wrote a trait in the form of a compliment whenever the music stopped. The results were beautiful & students loved seeing them up all day

Small words, big meanings. Students each received a notebook to begin their own word collection after reading The Word Collector. They started by choosing a small word that has a big meaning to them. I loved the conversations that followed! #iteach5th #HowsmanReunited #sel
