When our 3 emus first arrived at the Zoo, we assumed they were girls — which is how they came to be named Blossom, Bubbles, & Buttercup, after the Powerpuff Girls! 💕 As they began maturing, it became time to find out their genders, so we sent their blood for genetic testing.
