Setting off for Ukraine. Truck with medical/humanatariam aid. Fire truck will be handed over to the fireservice in Kharkiv full of search and rescue equipment, Subaru with shoebox packages for the front lines will be left there as a casualty evacuation vehicle.

Thanks to the organisers/everyone who attended the Bedfordshire Steam Fayre. We have been astounded by your generosity. We now have a total of £8,500. This is enough to pay for and get the fire truck to Ukraine, but we are still fundraising to cover the cost of the other vehicles

Hi all, we hope you are enjoying the Bedfordshire Steam And Country Fayre just a reminder that Ham’s Burgers will be in the car park of The Three Cranes serving hot food from 9pm until late tonight raising money for our next trip to Ukraine, come along for some food if you can.

Big thank you to Gavin Bellenger of BellTwin Commercial Catering Engineers for helping us get our food van into usable condition with no charge whatsoever earlier this week. It means we can now use it over the weekend to raise some money for our work in Ukraine.

@BedsFire we are raising money to purchase a fire appliance for firefighters in Kharkiv. We plan to take it over 1st Oct with two retired Bedfordshire fire fighters. Could help us share this, or a cut down version of the presentation with a wider audience please?
