ରାଜ୍ୟ ଏସଇବିସି ତାଲିକାରେ ଥିବା ଅନେକ ଜାତି କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ଓବିସି ତାଲିକାରେ ନଥିବାରୁ ଏହି ସମାଜର ଲୋକମାନେ କେନ୍ଦ୍ର ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଚାକିରି, ଶିକ୍ଷା ଓ ବୈଷୟିକ ଶିକ୍ଷାନୁଷ୍ଠାନରେ ନାମଲେଖା ତଥା ସରକାରଙ୍କ ଅନେକ କଲ୍ୟାଣକାରୀ ଯୋଜନାରେ ସଂରକ୍ଷଣର ଲାଭ ପାଇବାରୁ ବଞ୍ଚିତ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି । କେନ୍ଦ୍ରୀୟ ଓବିସି ତାଲିକାରେ ଏହି ବର୍ଗର ଜାତିଙ୍କୁ ସାମିଲ କରାଗଲେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ସାମାଜିକ-ଅର୍ଥନୈତିକ ବିକାଶ ଘଟିବ । ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଏହି ବୃହତ୍ ସମାଜକୁ ସେମାନଙ୍କର ଅଧିକାର ଦେବା ଦିଗରେ ଏହା ଏକ ମହତ୍ୱପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ପଦକ୍ଷେପ ହେବ ।

#Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has written to National Backward Classes Commission Chairperson Hansraj Ahir, urging inclusion of several castes from Odisha’s SEBC list, including Khond, Paik, Chasa Paika, Aalia, Paikali, Kalinga Shudra Khond, Mahanayak Shudra, Od-Khandayata, Bayalisha, Oda, Oda-Paika, Oda Paiko, Haldia Teli, and Rajshree/Balasi, in the Central OBC list.

The minister said their exclusion deprives them of government jobs, education, and welfare benefits, and inclusion will promote their socio-economic development.
