Women farmers in Odisha are leading by example in making rice fallows cultivable and profitable. Access to quality inputs, sustainable practices and awareness about the market is going to boost their confidence to promote crop diversification for improved nutrition @arvindpadhee

Rice Fellow Management is indeed a flagship initiative of DA&FE aims at increase our self sufficiency in oilseed & pulse production..steps towards real independence in nutritional security of our state
'Comprehensive Project on #RiceFallowManagement' is a flagship initiative of DA&FE. It aims to leverage rice fallow areas in Odisha to boost production of non-paddy crops, thus increasing cropping intensity and enhancing income and nutritional security of the farming community.
Rice Fallow Management initiative of Odisha is perhaps one of the largest regenerative agricultural practices, supported by any State Government in India. Besides the climate resilience and improved soil health, we aim at positive nutritional outcomes, as pulses crops have mostly been taken in the fallow areas. Grateful to all the farmers, NGO partners, research organizations, and other stakeholders. @AgriGoI@NITIAayog
