Infatuation happens to all young people. They idealize someone they don’t know, get blinded by intense attraction, and later get hit by reality like a ton of bricks.

You learn infatuation is temporary and a lapse in good judgment.

But infatuation likes to revisit people later in life. “Mature” people with status and titles aren’t immune.

In case you forget what it does, the root word tells you. The Latin root infātuāre means “to make a fool of”. To be infatuated is to be “turned into a fool” or “made foolish” by the devil.

The fixation or obsession is fed by irrationality, delusion and/or escapism. That’s why you become a fool if you don’t take it to the Lord and get empowered to conquer it.

I never liked the word “passion”. It comes from the Latin passio meaning to endure, to be acted upon, to suffer passively as opposed to doing actively.

From a Christian point of view, this has both historic and modern problems. To speak of the crucifixion of Christ as the “Passion of Christ” is a largely Catholic misunderstanding that Jesus was acted upon by the Romans and Jews, rather than the Biblical understanding that in Him all things consist or hold together, and Jesus orchestrated everything from His own birth to the Last Supper to the Crucifixion on the specific date of Passover.

He gave the Roman soldiers strength to beat Him. He held every atom of the nails, the cross and even the ground of Golgotha together. He was not suffering passively or enduring a beating as a victim. He was the Divine Messiah performing Redemption in such a way that no one else could or was qualified to.

In modern parlance, Christian preachers like to say they’re passionate, you gotta be passionate, and follow your passion. Even if it now means “enthusiasm,” “intense desire” or “romantic interest situations,” it still fundamentally means deep feelings you “suffer” or are compelled to go through due to an external force acting on you.

In this sense I’m not passionate. I don’t think I should be passionate at all. Rather I should resist such a passion.

Interestingly, people who follow their passion like to read from the Passion or the Message paraphrase of the Bible. I find paraphrases inadequate, inaccurate and imprecise. I seek a precise knowledge of God’s Word.

Let me reveal what’s unpopular. If it saves or improves one life it’ll be worth it.

Firstly, this woman sexually assaulted Charlie Kirk by flashing him at the University of Pittsburg (imagine the reverse if Kirk flashed a woman, it’d be a crime) and she speaks vile things (even after his death). Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. So

1) The liberal mind virus will affect your looks. Positive thoughts make you look prettier.

But I will go further. Why do so many Americans, whatever the race, decline faster in appearance than women in non-Western countries?

2) Tampon use. 70% of American women use tampons. 2% of Chinese use. Tampons are hard to find outside of cities in Japan and Thailand. A 2024 study detected metals like lead, arsenic, cadmium, and others in tampons regardless of the brand. The chemicals contained in tampons include bleaching byproducts, dioxins (known carcinogens and endocrine disruptor), bisphenols (e.g., BPA), phthalates, parabens, and volatile organic compounds.

Tampon use increases vaginal irritation, micro-tears, yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis (which causes smell). I heard a Chinese grandmother advise her granddaughter, “NEVER put a tampon up your private part.” Most American girls don’t have any wise or moral women around them to guide them. They only watch ads and follow their peers.

3) Early sexual debut and promiscuity (multiple or concurrent partners). Scientific literature is littered with evidence of negative outcomes in women who are promiscuous. Besides the risk of STDs/ STIs and pregnancy/ abortion, higher numbers of partners are strongly associated with later substance dependence disorders, especially in women. It lowers self-esteem, attachment, and future relationship satisfaction. A woman who’s had abortion is a murderer and it will make her guilt-ridden to destroy a helpless life that depended on her for safety. Innocence is gone. The shine disappears. None of this is popularly told because the culture is like Sodom and virginity is mocked.

Following the Bible would make women healthier and better protected.

4) High use of pharmaceutical products and dependence on drugs. 66% of Americans are currently taking a prescription drug. 58% currently (in the past month) are taking illicit drugs, smoking or drinking alcohol.

Americans and Germans are by far the world’s biggest spenders on toxic prescription drugs ($1500 per capita in USA, $995 in Germany). They age quickly (unless they live in other countries). Compare to Eastern Europeans who are some of the least dependent on Big Pharma drugs—their women age better. Melania Trump is one example. (She’s 56 years old.)

Out of God’s 613 commandments, one-third has to do with food, diet, physical purity and sanitation. Faith in God leads us to go as natural as possible.

I’m not condemning your past; I’m answering a viral question based on 2 juxtaposed photos of a young liberal American woman (even if the photos were fake, there are lessons to learn). You live according to your faith and convictions. God loves you no matter how you look. He could help you be healthier which automatically improves your looks.
