Tutt Library is closed today, Thursday, August 3rd for a library staff event. This includes the Research Desk and the Colket Center.

ITS: Solutions Center will be available, call them at 719.389.6449 to meet you at one of the entrances if you need computer repair.

The Research Desk hours change slightly today and through August 26. A librarian will be at the desk Monday-Friday, 11 am-5 pm, and Sundays, 1 pm-6 pm. Building hours remain the same. Email [email protected] with research questions or reach out to a liaison librarian.

Earlier this week we hosted a party for our graduating student workers. To those seniors - Tutt Library is better because of you, we appreciate everything you do. In the words of our Circulation Team Coordinator, “College is hard and you did it.” Congratulations, we'll miss you!

We recently partnered with State of the Rockies to hang over 40 prints from the Orange Skies Project in our fourth floor map room. These images are from 2020 wildfires and highlight the complex relationship we have with fire. Thank you to Facilities for helping us hang these!

Profs Tomi-Ann Roberts and Jason Weaver recently wrote an article about the benefits of a short social media fast for pre-teen and teen dancers. They found that when girls took 3 days away from social media, their body image and self-compassion improved.

RoCCy was hanging out by our DVDs recently. Did you know we have over 7,300 DVDs between the ones in Seay Music Library and at Circulation in Tutt? They can be checked out by students for 3 days, we also loan out DVD players!
