STOP ASKING BETTER QUESTIONS, START GIVING BETTER CONTEXT
We have all had moments where an AI response feels too generic. You ask a question, and the answer is technically correct, but it doesn’t quite solve your problem. Most times, the issue isn’t the AI, it’s that it doesn’t have enough context.
A simple way to improve the quality of AI responses is to let the AI understand your goal before it starts answering. I’ve tried this myself, and the difference is noticeable. Instead of asking for an answer immediately, ask it to ask you a few questions first. Those questions help uncover details you may have forgotten to mention, making the final response far more relevant.
For example, instead of saying, “Write me a post about crypto,” you could say, “write a detailed crypto post, but ask me three questions first so you understand my audience and the message I want to share.” That small change can make a huge difference.
The more information the AI has about your needs, the more tailored and useful its response will be. It’s a simple habit that works well for writing, coding, brainstorming, planning, and even everyday tasks.
Sometimes, getting the best answer doesn’t start with asking a better question. It starts with giving the AI a chance to ask you a few first.
