This is their 49th Day as Prisoners of terrorists! 49 Days in this weather, full of fear and anxiety for their lives! Little Children and their teachers! Ahh!!!!
Went to the restroom of a mega store & the toilet staff was just hissing loudly saying “wetin be this”. I asked what the problem was, she said a husband gave her diaper to give his wife in the toilet. I heard the husband but I wanted to confirm from her. I asked what the problem was with that?
She said “how adult go Dey use diaper? Na rubbish”, she said it so loud the woman must have heard. I told her she had no business being rude about it & gave all the instances where grownups could need diapers and of course schooled her on empathy because why was she being nasty?
A good and moral religion is one that focuses more on self control than dress control.
Let everyone dress modestly, but more importantly learn to control yourself. Control your eyes, and control your body.
This is now their 40th Day as prisoners and hostages of terrorists. 40 Days of Cold nights, no change of clothes, poor physical care, emotional trauma, abuse and constant fear! Ah!!😭😭😭. God!!!!
This is soul sinking!!! 40 DAYS!!!

I've received salvation. I've experienced the unconditional love of God. I've been made a son, and declared righteous by the works of Jesus, all my sins blotted out. I've been washed clean by His blood.
Nothing can ever top that. Nothing and no one.
This is now their 34th Night as captives of terrorists in the bush! I cannot imagine the horror! The discomfort! The mental, physical and emotional torture! Toddlers and children! Then teachers! We cannot forget them! God!😭😭😭😭
You hear feminism and think “Anti-men” because your entitled mind thinks a woman should exist for you. You do not see her an entity deserving of autonomy as you do. May God open your eyes.
This is now their 33rd night in the jungle as captives of terrorists!! 33 nights!!! Toddlers!!! Children!! Innocent teachers who just went to school! Ah!! 😭😭😭
Happy to announce that we @chessinslums have been selected as one of the 7 winners of the world bank youth innovation fund.
Our proposal centered on designing and implementing a Chess and STEM project for secondary school students in low income communities. The grant will help us expand that vision through our Innovation Hub in Yaba.
My deepest gratitude to Precious Oziegbe, Evangeline Inyang, and Levon Gyozalyan (World bank colleagues) for believing in our work and championing it all the way to the final presentation in Washington, D.C. It was nerve wrecking even for me just watching virtually whilst they gave an awe inspiring final presentation.
None of this would have been possible without their conviction and support.
It took us two years of failed applications and due diligence before making the final selection this year. A reminder to never give up despite rejection.
It possible to do great things from a small place. This is Day 1
“What we want to do in Abia State is to have power in our own hands. In time to come, the entire Abia State will be disconnected from the national grid, and 24-hour electricity supply will be guaranteed across every part of the state.
Electricity matters because about 60–70% of manufacturing costs are tied to energy. I got a call from someone yesterday who already owns a steel plant and wants to relocate it to a state with 24-hour electricity. I told him to come immediately. I have already allocated 5,000 hectares of land to him close to Geometric.”
