When the police reached out to me to inquire whether I wished to press charges against the driver who had illegally parked his truck in the middle of the highway without any hazard signals, I found myself deliberating.
But Honestly I’m just grateful for life and I’m Happy with the fact that lumi is getting fixed

I won’t sugarcoat it – crossing into Morocco from Spain had me on edge initially 🥶😃

The lack of clear, straightforward information threw me for a loop, especially after the hassle-free experience crossing from the UK into France. I was running from station to station only to find they sold tickets but couldn’t offer the guidance I desperately needed. Frustration was an understatement 😭

Let’s clear the air 😅🤚 I know Instagram’s been a bit MIA as TikTok took center stage and this is because it’s a whole lot driving and posting but I’ll be doing some back posting to share more details here 🙏🏻

If you’re considering the journey from Spain to Morocco, let me lay it out so you don’t find yourself in the same boat. Here’s everything you need to know:

- Passport Validity: A no-brainer, but ensure your passport won’t expire for at least six months.
- Vehicle Ownership Proof: In the UK this is your V5C form will be your proof of vehicle ownership, so keep it handy.
- Insurance: Despite mixed signals from various sources, carrying proof of insurance is wise, even if it wasn’t checked in my case.

Ferry options to Morocco are abundant, with departures every 2 hours. I chose Balearia for the crossing, which cost me €115 for both my car and myself.

The excitement of finally being in Morocco is at an all time high , and I’m eager to dive into this new chapter and share every bit of it with you.
