went to PRGE and spent a ton of money, but i don’t care. it was REAL as hell. thank you @dracooties & @TigheSammy for this lovely stuff! and big ups to my dentist for giving me a free toothbrush
i’m now a proud “huge klonoa print” owner
@rebeccaartst@XJ_0_@PLANET_CRUNCH yes, it’s a complete guessing game, so that’s why i tend to value art more for how much i enjoyed making it rather than the exposure it gets. because no matter how hard you try, exposure is completely up to luck. if exposure is not skill-based, then why worry about it?
@XJ_0_@PLANET_CRUNCH the fact that the attention you get on your art is evidently completely up to luck, like it was there, is evidence to me that attention’s not really worth pursuing, nor does it indicate the value of what you make
In case there are any beginner artists out there who want to improve, but don't know what to work on, I've decided to post some examples of the types of study that I've done over the years to get me where I am now, so maybe you will get some ideas.

@Rysali_S it’s good to say that all out loud, helps you feel more accountable.
if you ever need a teammate, don’t be afraid to hit me up if you want, cause i’ve always wanted to give splatoon a REAL, serious go
@habitovin if you look in the eyes of someone who suffered beyond imagination from the pandemic and just say “idk it was the best time of my life! :3” you are a joke
Merry Christmas to this guy who posted in the steam subreddit yesterday that he was one point away from 69k and to the valve employee who silently granted him the single point on Christmas Day.
