Disgusting, I always spoke highly of Liverpool but this has disappointed me

All the police were nicely warmed inside the station doing nothing with no police outside managing the fights or near stampede! I missed my train and the last train

Just got through the queue at Liverpool Lime Street. Been in for 4hours. Kids are being carried over the top of barriers to safety. Adults crying because they feel they’re getting crushed. Police stood by but not opening up barriers for space. So unsafe & scary.

The so called queuing system they had was appalling, no police or cordone until you reach in the station, trains leaving empty whilst people including kids and disabled individuals standing outside in the rain with people fighting, pushing… DISGUSTING! Never again

@nationalrailenq @BTP @LFC I have been to many big events around the world and have to say THIS was the worst oragnised!! So so dangerous and appalling! I waited outside in the cold and heavy rain for 5 hours with no police in sight because they were all nicely warm inside

Absolutely disgraceful queue system at Liverpool Lime Street. Thousands and thousands dangerously trapped outside with no functional queue system and my train has left almost completely empty because nobody is funneled correctly. Complete failure of planning and management.

@stehoare We were lucky enough to get on a train home. Absolutely terrifying in and around Lime street. People treated like cattle, the staff didn't seem to know what was happening. Saw numerous women and children crying.
