I turned 30 yesterday, but I’ve been on Twitter since I was 16. In that time I’ve become a software engineer, then senior, and left the field two years ago. Twitter is my only link back to my old job, and I try to keep updated as one day I may return to software.

@isotopp I hate this graph. The data is presented well but it contains only absolute numbers and with none of the data needed to interpret them meaningfully. A breakdown by vaccination status only seems useful to answer questions about vaccines - but you’d need the vaccination rate data.

@Scott_Helme @Sc0ttY0ung @troyhunt I’ve been faced with a similar situation in the past - there was a HA setup but even a sub-second failover would cause havoc because of disconnects. Year-long certs and budgeting for downtime at the business’ quietest time of the year was the only way to do it 🤷‍♂️

@troyhunt @ossronny @buypass I’m convinced it’s easy and have deployed it across dozens of domains (and you may even know some of them). What I’m not convinced of is that the current state of the ecosystem is sustainable long term. Sorry if it looks like I’m arguing against deploying https 😅
