@KaraLG84@TheSwitchMaster If you pair the audio with the visual, you can hear “no, no, no, yes” with each “no” advancing the selection/cursor on a menu and each “ah” or “yes” making a selection.
@bbfpam @TVI_ting@TVI_Adam I love the Blue2 from Ablenet as it stays set up for teachers and it’s programmable if you want to do something fancy. I don’t hand a child the blue2 since the switches are too close, I plug in an external switch like the 3’ smoothie switch and I mount it!
@bbfpam @TVI_ting@TVI_Adam Mount the iPad up for the eyes and mount the switch down for the hands. Most little ones can’t look at the screen and use the screen as a switch. Too many motor demands.
Pro tip for PIAF machine use. When running through a typical printer first determine the right side up and setting that eliminates run off. At home it’s “transparency” and at my office it’s “card stock”. Then make a note on the printer so you don’t forget. #A11Y
Undiagnosed to diagnosis took 10 years for my friend Alex Yiu. This is his story https://t.co/I3v2TzCm8R His family is looking to connect to others who struggle with no diagnosis, and share hope.

Such an important topic! I feel fortunate to have heard @mbelotesf speak on CAPD twice now and believe this applies to many learners with CVI. Thank you @scotlandcvi for sharing.
