Burnley must save Malawi’s capital city from this stupid parade. Dembele and Kvaratskhelia will take care of the Champions League final in Budapest. Insha’Allah!
Either the ruling party, DPP, benefits from blackouts, or it genuinely does not know how to fix them. If it is the latter, they should have allowed the team under MCP to continue their work. Instead, they removed the CEO and reassigned him to a role where his skills were not needed, simply because he was not one of them. This mindset is destroying the nation. Every time a new government takes power, key human resources are replaced, often with less competent individuals. Nepotism and political appeasement are crippling the country. The solution is straightforward: hire the best people and do so on merit. That is not only how you fix systems, but how you grow an economy. Yet corrupt and tribalistic politicians fail to grasp this. We have become a country with no long term plans, where governments are preoccupied with appeasing their elite circles through positions they do not qualify for and dubious contracts, all while planning for the next election, with no development or meaningful change for the common man. We are now back to blackouts, which, despite its many failures, the previous administration had largely resolved. Now, key government positions, from ministries to parastatals and even CEO roles, are increasingly filled with underqualified individuals who lack managerial experience, their only qualification being loyalty to ruling party elites. Leave politics to politicians, and the work to technocrats!
