@spaun2k@ChaosTV Moving a camera out of your face is not a crime don't be ridiculous. And standing blocking an entrance could be considered a crime if the people feel intimidated or unable to leave.
It isn't about the privacy, it is about shoving the camera in the guy's face. That is agression.
@brian_trollz A fundamental misunderstanding of AGI and what LLMs do.
It goes to show you though as soon. As we do have AGI it will be far more fluidly intelligent than. The vast majority of humans, with direct access to huge amounts of knowledge allowing it to outperform all of us.
Terrible analogy.
The brain is not sitting there doing “next word, next word, next word” like an LLM.
A person usually has a concept, intent, or meaning first. Then other brain systems turn that into language. Sometimes the words come out cleanly, sometimes they don’t, because language is an output layer, not the whole thought process. This is why animals can or process or understand a lot without having a strong language layer.
An LLM does not start with fluid lived intent/perception, or a grounded understanding and then express it. It generates language from statistical patterns learned from text.
So while the brain uses prediction as part of processing even the type of prediction is different and more an aide, because human speech is concept-driven and grounded in experience. LLM output is token-driven and grounded in text patterns.
Those are not the same thing.
@Tyler__Noble@TheMcBang didn't need any hyperbole, where your statement has so much exaggeration it is equivalent to a lie.
How exactly do you think they function down there?
@SophiesNewWorld@BenjaminPDixon You don't see how stupid that statement is?
The underlying architecture being completely different means the methods a brain uses to form replies cannot be the same as a tokenized prediction model.
It is a stupid statement with no merit.
#REPORT: The Waterloo Region District School Board admits that they spent over $175,000 to rename Sir John A. Macdonald Secondary School.
The WRDSB only released the full cost after Ishan Acharya, a 10th grade student at the school, submitted a Freedom of Information request.
You think money is the economy, but it isn't, money is just the record keeping and to easy trade.
The economy is fed by production, printing money above what can be recovered by the real production (sometimes enable by borrowing from future production) just devalues the currency.. it does t grow the economy which makes everyone poorer.
Greater spend in government does not equate to greater production often the opposite can be true, more bureaucracy for the same level of real production. That isn't to say the government shouldn't spend money and sometimes that even means on non-capital expenditures (like infrastructure). That is to say the government must spend efficiently to actually help the economy and not hurt the people.
@No_strin@SamHersh01 How many billionaires do you think there are in Canada? How much total wealth do you think they have and do you really think that a tax on it that doesn't destroy Canadian ownership of assets would even scratch the surface? More stupidity and socialist populism.
@No_strin@SamHersh01 Yeah, nothing to do with the creation of $700,000,000,000 by the Government over the last 10 years planed to top a Trillion with Carney.
You people thinking that doesn't have to get "paid back" one way or another. It's absolutely daft.
