Just wanted to give a shout out to my son Tanner Webb who turned 23 this past week. I can’t even begin to say how proud I am of him and his accomplishments. Happy birthday my son. You are amazing!!
28 years ago I married the love of my life. All of us coaches know how hard it is to coach, but to have the woman you adore there with you during all those times is something special. Thank you Shawna Webb. You are incredible.
@Heightsfootbal3 What a great man and a great coach. Without him I would have been out of the the profession a long time ago. He is a fantastic mentor and leader of men. Thanks Coach Young for all you have done.
My daughter turns 24 today!! How exciting. It has been an incredible journey so far and I am excited to see what God has planned for her next. She is a bright, intelligent, and woman of God. What more could make a dad prouder. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sis. You are the bomb!!
The next big event is the college graduation of my son - Tanner Webb- from ACU. For a kid to have autism and HDHD and graduate Magna cum laude with a digital entertainment degree is amazing. What an amazing young man. My pride as a father has no bounds.
Another big event this past week is the birthday of my beautiful wife — Shawna Webb on May 10th. She Is my everything and I am so proud of her. HAPPY BIRTHDAY my girl. You have never looked so good
Big week of celebration for the Webb’s. First celebration is my dad - Dan McCarty. He turned 82 this past Monday on May 8th. People talk about turnin into their parents. If I can turn into him, it will be a blessing. He is an amazing man that has taught me to become the man I am.
On Friday my daughter, Samantha, finished her masters in digital marketing strategies from Arizona State University. After getting her undergraduate from Abilene Christian, her ceiling is unlimited. I am so proud of her and her accomplishments. She is amazing.
CONGRATULATIONS to Mr. Ryan Clark for finishing 8th in the discus at the Regional track meet today. Ryan overcame a devastating injury on his ankle last fall which required major surgery in January. He is the true definition of grit and determination. I am so very proud of him.
This week Ryan Clark repeated his district performance and got third at the district 3 & 4 area meet. What a comeback!! He is heading back to Regionals for the second year in a row!! Great job Ryan. Roo nation is so proud of you and what you have overcome to get back. Good luck!
22!!! My son is 22. To overcome his autism and his ADHD to graduate magna cum laude from ACU with his degree in digital entertainment technology this May has been outstanding to go through. So proud of him and can’t wait to see what is next. HAPPY BIRTHDAY boy!!!
Another success story — Rebecca Willis, senior. Hasn’t hit over 88’ in the two years I have had her. However, she put in the work and hit 103’6 at district for 4th — area bound. Great job Becca. Shows what hard work and dedication will get you.
What a success story — senior Ryan Clark. Tore up his foot and ankle during football and had major surgery in January. Did his rehab and came out to discus about a month into the season — Area bound. Great job Ryan. I am so proud of you. Let’s get Regionals!!
Happy 27th anniversary to the Webb’s. Just like to wish myself and my bride happy anniversary today. Most importantly I wanted to say thank you to all of you that have been apart of this amazing journey with Shawna and myself. We wouldn’t be who we are without your support. Thanks
My baby girl turns 23 today. I am so proud of her. Don’t blink everyone and those kids of yours will be grown. I am so proud of her and what she has accomplished so far. Can’t wait to see what is next.
Well, today it was official. My wife and best friend just finished her last day as an educator— 27 years. What an influence she has been on so my kids throughout her journey. I know the profession will miss her as will all the professionals she worked with.
45 years ago I was blessed to have a great man marry my mother. Those two came together and gave me all the opportunities that any kid could have hoped for. What a great time we had and are still having as a family. Happy Anniversary McCarty’s. Let’s keep the good times rolling.
