High School Sessions are back!!
We're offering 2 Intro Level Sessions in which students learn about Ableton Live & record a musician in our studio! We're also introducing Level 2 Sessions, in which previous students learn MORE about studio recording, Live, & home studio setup.

Learned a lot about the history & basics of live sound, thanks to the workshop led by Mars Fariss on Saturday!

Mars will teach this workshop again on January 14 & our Live Audio Production Certificate program starting in March 2023.

As we’re nearing the semester’s end, our students are learning the art of mastering! In your car, in a restaurant, in headphones, and elsewhere, it’s vital that songs are prepared to translate well for distribution across the many different formats and playback systems.

One of the best things: having our graduates back in the studio with us! This week, Roan O’Reilly, a graduate from Fall 2021, is leading this semester’s class in recording and mixing during Experiential Learning Week #2 - in between his own sessions as a freelance engineer.

We've reached the point in the semester where students are engineering recording sessions twice a week. Today students got to use a common orchestral recording technique on strings for some soon to be released tracks. Anybody know the name of the technique?

Tweed Recording offers an 18-week certificate program that teaches Pro Tools and Ableton, studio recording, audio production, the business of music, and so much more! Students gain experience working in a commercial studio and learn how to build and manage a home studio.
