The term "Assault Weapons" (e.g. AR15s) ARE NOT WEAPONS OF WAR. They are semi-automatic (one trigger pull one shot), CIVILIAN weapons. They are NOT military, fully automatic (full-auto, one pull, hundreds of rounds)), "Assault Rifles" (which are heavily restricted.
