In a serious country, there would be an investigation, consequences, and exposure of the people behind the charade. Everything the shadow presidency did should be exposed and reversed.

Every WH aide who facilitated the last minute fusillade against the Constitution should be held accountable and stripped of all power and privilege. If they’re lawyers, disbarred. If they have security clearances, shred em.

Culpable media should be not only barred from the White House Press Corps but shamed out of the business. What they did was far more sinister than the hackish media personalities who merely repeated party lines. The smug liberal journalists now admitting that they were in on it get zero credit; they should be folding burritos at Chipotle.

Even Speaker Johnson should be tossed for his role in the cover-up, which he admitted with Bari Weiss. He has no plausible rationale for covering up Biden’s dementia other than self-preservation or to ingratiate himself with the Deep State behind the shadow presidency.

Alas, justice will never come for those responsible for the past four years. We’ll likely never know what we don’t know about just how deranged, self-indulgent, and pernicious the shadow presidency was. Here’s hoping we can get back-to-back JD presidencies and rebuild some Americanism from this clusterfuck.
