While it’s not ethically wrong for some to alter posts hoping to improve self worth, they might be harming themselves mentally.
As for those with a large follower base, they need to consider unrealistic stardards they set for others.

I think the real problem with social media isn’t that it makes people lonely, it’s that it hinders people social skills...ironically
In turn that can lead to loneliness, from socials contribution to mental health issues
