This might sound like banter but I don’t suggest anyone has too many relationships.
You can never enjoy anything God blesses you with because your life would always be about comparisons.
Very difficult games for Cape Verde and Ghana. Winnable games for the other African teams if they turn up imo.
Dr Congo will need to be tactically brilliant against England and they might stand a chance

9️⃣/🔟 teams have qualified to World Cup Round of 32 👏🏾✨
Gonna sound cringe but Messi general play this tournament has been worrying me, he’s usually better than anyone else with the ball under pressure but this tournament he’s been giving it away far too easily.
91 year old legendary Argentinian journalist Macaya Márquez was in press conference, covering his 18th (!) World Cup 🐐
“Let me ask you… will Messi play against Jordan or not?” 😬
“I’d never reply to any journalist on this topic now… but it is coming from you, and so I tell you: Messi will not start” 👏🏼
“I respect you too much, I’m proud to see you here”, added.
Scaloni then went to hug Márquez and took a picture 🫂🥹
Two absolute legends. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚 𝐠𝐮𝐲. 👏🏼

The Ghanaian players didn't put pressure on the Ref to go to VAR for that foul from Konsa and a potential penalty. They were just happy to take a point. A team like Morocco would have challenged that.
Tomorrow marks the 9th of Muharram, a blessed opportunity to begin the observance of Ashura through fasting.
Ashura is a day of great virtue in Islam. It is one of the most blessed days of the sacred month of Muharram, and the Prophet ﷺ encouraged fasting it. Allah says that the number of months with Him is twelve, and among them are four sacred months, which include Muharram.
The Prophet ﷺ said that the best fasting after Ramadan is fasting in the month of Allah, Muharram. Ashura stands out within this blessed month because of its immense reward and spiritual benefit.
One of the greatest virtues of Ashura is that the Prophet ﷺ said fasting it expiates the sins of the previous year. It is a day of mercy, forgiveness, and renewal for the believer.
Ashura is also connected to the story of Musa عليه السلام. When the Prophet ﷺ came to Madinah and found the Jews fasting this day, he asked them why. They said it was the day Allah saved Musa and drowned Fir‘awn, so the Prophet ﷺ said that Muslims are more entitled to Musa than them.
That is why fasting Ashura is an act of gratitude to Allah. It reminds us that victory comes from Him alone, that the believers are helped by Him, and that worship should be done with sincerity and following the Sunnah.
The Sunnah is also to fast the day before Ashura which is tomorrow (the 9th), and if possible the day after it as well, so that the Muslim distinguishes himself in worship and follows the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ completely.
I’m in love with this reminder
“If Allah didn’t want to accept your dua, He would not have guided you to make the dua in the first place”
- Ibn Al Qayyim رحمه الله
