@OccupyDemocrats Come now; Biden doesn't want to cancel student debts- it's his fault they're exempt from bankruptcy.
If the Dems intend to win in 2024, they need to run a real candidate. Biden was only ever a placeholder, and being better than Trump won't be enough a second time around.
@OccupyDemocrats Good story, but the writer should really rein in the prose a bit if they want to be taken more seriously. You don't need to drop this many fnords when the story is already clearly on your side; it's clumsy.
Also, they should look up the phrase "thinly veiled" before using it.
@SarahLarchmont Lady; they lock their doors when the see any of us at all. Some of us are Trumpers, but the rest of us allow Trumpers to exist, and that's not much better.
@KaganKaraman@JeriLRyan Who in their right mind would want MAGAs for fans? I'm pretty sure Jeri Ryan and George Takei have more than enough fans to support their careers without having to pander to what are essentially Nazis.
If you don't like their political views, that's fine; they don't need you.
@on_peggy @txchristabelle@POTUS I'm still in debt because of him, our foreign relations are still a shambles due to things he supported while in the legislative branch, he's still a creepy molester.
Don't get me wrong, he's infinitely better than the alternative, but that's a *super* low bar to set.
@LoProCo@ItsMattsLaw This only makes sense if you care about the quality of the society in which you live. There are plenty of morons out of there who would happily sit atop a dung heap if only because they'd be at the top of it, looking down with a sense of superiority over the rest of the dung.
@Lincolns_Finger@reynoldsgareth You know, when you're told that "there's nothing to see here" it's impolite to look anyway. Don't you trust them despite almost never having a reason to? Where are your manners?
@reynoldsgareth Don't worry; it's all good. The company is going to give everyone affected a crisp $5 bill! Talk about swift and thorough crisis relief! I had been worried for a minute there.
@macusek@GeeScottSr@RonFilipkowski Because Britain had abolished slavery. If the first duty of a prisoner is to escape, then surely the first duty of a slave is to rebel. Calling that treason is deranged. They weren't Americans; they were our unwilling captives.
@GeeScottSr@RonFilipkowski Actually, yes. That way people would know what I'm talking about when I say there are more than one verse, and that the others are *super* racist.
@Beacher50@RonFilipkowski@WerewolfScribe To say nothing of the ones carrying the flag of a treasonous coup attempt we put down nearly two centuries ago. I can't think of anything more un-American than flying the flag of our own traitors.
@MattSaysHelllo@OccupyDemocrats I always thank my grocer for doing their job and the guy at McDonald's who hands me my food for doing his job. Why not thank a judge for doing theirs? It's not like every judge is out there doing their job properly.
@OccupyDemocrats It would be nice, but we already tried the law that says that you cannot be compelled to make lifesaving medical donations (tissue, organs, plasma, etc) and that didnβt land. I doubt that trying to define it as involuntary servitude will fare any better.
@Spikesmth@GoodPoliticGuy When slavery ended but forced labor was allowed for prisoners, we went through several decades of arresting black people in false charges just to keep the prison labor force well supplied. Now if we apply this same concept to organ donors, an interesting thing happens...
@FoxNews Why on earth am I seeing tweets from Faux News? As if I'd follow a news channel whose only scrupulous or honorable employees have long since slit their own wrists...
@RobbieDague@Andy Please do what you can to rein in your party's rhetoric. *you* might not say the things that cause this, but in voting republican you almost certainly *have* voted for those who do. We need to do better.
