I'm heading out of here fairly soon, part of the mass exodus Musk (along with other factors) has driven.
I'm sure you know where to find me, should you want to. It's in my bio anyway.
Lots of π to you all, it's been amazing.
@Alexarmstrong Dunno, he has many reasons not to do just now.
He'll have spent more days per month in Makerfield than Farage (who doesn't have reasons) ever has in Clacton. I can guarantee that.
#WhatsApp web crashes/ logs out continually, so I installed whatsapp proper.
Now I get only the last 3 days of convos, to obtain those before it asks you to "open whatsapp on your phone and try again". Upon which - nothing happens.
When did these mega corporations stop caring?
Google's problem is that it is too big to have any human interfaces. At some point it has lost its humanity.
AI (who else) confirmed to me that my chance of discussing this with a human being are zero.
so my @madebygoogle Chromecast failed, and then my @madebygoogle Nest mini failed, now my backup @gmail account was deleted (notified yesterday) and @Google provide no way to recover it. They ask "would you like to recover?" then it's "unrecoverable". After 1 day?
Great, huh?
Occasional reminder - don't buy @Google hardware. First it was the Chromecast - started overheating and stuttering. Became WEEE very quickly.
Now it's the Nest mini (<2 yrs old) Playing 20 seconds in endless loops. Can't fix it, nor can Google.
Piece of junk. Bound for the bin.
@EastMidRailway Hi thanks for replying. I never once saw the train staff, and since it was very crowded I didn't feel I wanted to leave my seat. This was the Tuesday 26 May 08.32 Derby to London, coach D from memory.
Possible aircon failure?
The @EastMidRailway service to London I'm on now is totally airless, unbearably hot. People are gasping for breath. One lad next to me fainted.
It's time in 2026 that we had better rail design engineering.
@jamesmurray_ldn phone companies are now clever at blocking scammers, so they routinely use "private call". I get three a day. I ignore them.
Problem is, #NHS staff also use "private call" -always
The NHS now needs its own system.
What can be done?
Ten Newsnight requests. One thumbs down emoji. Zero answers about the Β£5m and Β£1.4m property.
Should the BBC refuse to cover Reform until Farage answers? π
My @madebygoogle Nest Mini is useless now, when streaming it just plays the same phrase over and over. You have to depower it.
Nothing else has changed, just some software upgrades on the device.
Hello @googlemaps , every few days you keep prompting me to review a pizza hut in Manchester; I didn't go there; I've already told you this weeks ago and it was removed from my timeline then.
Is there a way of stopping this?
@dailybritainonx Krishnan Guru-Murthy, "The end of the two child benefit cap came into force today" Anja Popp, "Keir Starmer called this the proudest moment of this Labour government- Hoping voters have forgotten that it only happened because he was forced by his own backbenchers"
Sums him up!
@dailybritainonx An utterly depressing question. Starmer, dull, ordinary and vacillating though he is, is the most statesmalike figure in those pictures, although Polanski has way more integrity. It might be Mamdani, or Mette Frederiksen.
