Historian. Teacher. Cineaste. Cocktail Enthusiast. Matrimonial Survivor with Oak Leaf Cluster. Republics get the governance that they deserve, and no better.
@MichaelDollins@Tweetoleon I have both. Each certification accepted by a state Department of Education will likely involve a graduate degree.
And this isn't new. It been in effect in some states for decades.
Hello. My name is Joe Normal Democrat. I'm not like those crazy Democrats. You should vote for me because I'm one of you! Now what do you say us fellas go on down to the local watering hole to watch the sportsball game over a couple of libations?
That all of Bari's previous experience was in print journalism does not make her unqualified.
Any more than when they took Walter Isaacson from TIME Magazine and gave him CNN.
As no one bitched in the slightest.
Nor called him unqualified.
The weirdest part of all this is that Weiss and her unqualified minions expect to be given deference by real journalists. Like everyone at 60 minutes was just going to pretend to be happy working for hacks.
I think Scott Pelley has a better future than CBS.
And by "unqualified," he means a journalist with decades of experience who built one of the few successful subscription platforms in the last twenty years.

Ah yes, making it seem that the expectation was sainthood, and not NOT being a death's head-inked voyeuristic predator who Toobins it in port-a-johns while sexting women behind his wife's back on Kik.
Journalists are the only employees haughty enough to believe their employers work for them.
They expect liberal/progressive owners and editors to support activist liberal reporting. If a centrist (Bari Weiss), or Heaven forbid a conservative becomes the boss, Katie bar the door. They’ll moan, whine and go down kicking (Scott Pelley).
The MSM today is liberals writing for liberal editors in organizations owned by liberals where their work is read by liberals.
And they wonder why they’re losing readers and viewers.
Scott Pelley says CBS demanded he "inject falsehoods," and wants to "murder" 60 Minutes. There's no evidence for either claim and good reason to think they're false. Pelley joins Dan Rather, Katie Couric, and Chuck Todd in spreading misinformation and then denying he had done so
This shouldn't have to be explained to as many people in the entertainment industry as need to hear it these days, but here it goes:
You're part of a hierarchy.
The people at the bottom don't dictate things to the people at the top.
“My boss called me into a meeting to explain why I’d acted like an entitled jackass in the staff meeting and to give me a chance to walk it back, I spent the whole meeting demanding she answer my questions about unrelated staffing decisions and then she fired me”
~ Scott Pelley

One of the worst Scott Pelley segments was when he featured Paul Ehrlich to warn that the planet was heading for extinction. This was in *2023.* Journalist Pelley never mentioned that Ehrlich had gone 0-for-30 in world-is-ending prediction racket over the previous 50 years.
Per sources: Graham Platner’s campaign is now aware of the severity of the next round of information that will come out. Worse than Nazi tattoo. Worse than Reddit. Worse than ‘Predator’s Paradise.’
The emergency trip home had nothing to do with reporters at the house his dad gave him. This is the DEFCON 1 of damage control.
